When I try to delete - Camera/Microphone/+ - from Android Apps I see the message that warns 'if deleting this '***' Permission, your phone will not function properly...etc etc'. What do you do when that occurs?? Still delete the camera/microphone...Permissions, or should you leave them as they are? So far, I have kept those 'Permissions' because I am afraid that by deleting them I will cause my (new $$$) phone to not work as it should and may need someone more knowledgeable to fix it. Thanks for any help/suggestions you can offer.

You can't delete anything that will break your phone. If you do, it's warrantied usually. But am very certain unless you've got some no name brand with no customer support or Walmart disposable phone, I'm positive you're not going to break anything. At least not in current versions of Android. At worst your phone soft boot loops and u lose some possibly recent stuff that may not have synced . But it's pretty hard to not get that back. What version of Android? If it's 11 or higher go HAM on it. If it's like android 9, maybe try not to delete anything

@@aninnymoose720 Thank you for your reply. New (good quality) phone with the all latest updates and I keep it updated. Mfg has great customer service that I have used in past years. Using a major carrier that also has great customer service. With that info, do you think it would be a good idea to Remove certain app's permissions?

@@beverlyrbev3890 is absolutely a good idea. But restricting permissions isn't going to do much in terms of preventing your data from being collected, mined, statically analyzed and used to constantly advertise to you. Often through personalized , or intimate (inner thought) typed of things. Think of permissions as a courtesy.. or i think that's how developers look at it. They don't need to ask, it's not a law . They won't be prosecuted in the USA . Laws here are lax. Europe on the other hand.... It's strictly a business with fading morality and largely unchecked ethics. With no or little disciplinary. So it's rightfully hidden from us as much as possible. As long as some doubt or misconception is accepted amongst the population, it'll continue to succeed though. Don't forget the 'System' permissions. They're on a separate menu. And many settings are hidden deep within menus of apps you normally never need to access otherwise. Most ppl leave them due to inconvenience and time it would take to set them all . Updates and cache clearing resets many... So you'd have to do it often

Pretty much every app asks for access to everything...beens saying this for years but people say they cant do anything eith that info. People are just that stupid. I asked a friend would you let me look at your phone or just a random stranger on the street. They said of course not. Do i aksed then why is it ok if apps looks and steal info? There is no difference!

Bleepingcomputer.com Wtf wrong with u trying to contact ppl on KZread. No wonder u got infected. You use ONE DRIVE. Goto your user directory , show hidden folders, find appdata , then go through each user accounts temp directory. Tmp too. Delete all files from there. Manage one drive from a different device and clear storage there too then reset your ms password
