CM Punk vs John Cena lacked a "proper" ending, but goddamn, they never had a bad match. Also, how dare you exclude El Torito vs Hornswoggle, you monsters.

It really is the lack of a proper ending that keeps Punk/Cena from being a truly elite rivalry. Especially on the level of most of the feuds brought up in this video. But man, their matches were dynamite.

I'd say their match on Raw in 2013 was a good ending to the feud as it was an amazing match and Cena finally got a win against Punk after failing in 2011 and 2012

Punk/Cena should have main evented ‘Mania 29; would have been the best ending possible to a nearly two-year long feud. They rarely even had a bad onscreen segment. They brought the absolute best out of each other

@@luckykoopa9892 I still think it was one of the better rivalries in wwe history it brought a lot of edge into both men and had a huge impact on the business
Others: - Keith Lee vs Dominik Dijakovic - Undertaker vs Batista - Anything involving The Smackdown Six
@luckykoopa9892
4 жыл бұрын
Just my opinion, but I don't think Lee vs. Dijakovic is that great. Yes, they're both great athletes and solid workers, but I felt the Takeover match between the two was very much meh. I believe that there can be such a thing as "too much" in a match. The matches that book ended Takeover Portland were just that: Too much. While we're on the subject of Batista/Taker (Which is one of my favorite feuds of all time), I REALLY feel that Undertaker vs. Edge should be brought up as well! Which is funny since the Taker/Batista feud flowed into the Edge one. Especially their matches at WM24 and then at Summerslam inside the Cell.

Gotta give Adam props where it actually counts on these videos though(of course keep in mind the editing with his videos is just perfect, comedy wise as well as informatively): • Thorough yet witty analysis for every Feud • Steady and I’m sure we’ll outlined and written explanation of events per Feud • Genuinely funny quirks that only highlight how much investment he has in each of the top 10 picks, thus making this enjoyable cause he isn’t withholding much info (Perhaps making brief summary’s here and there with a joke but I know you laughed). Not that I don’t appreciate everyone on WrestleTalk, but Adam is absolutely my favorite BabyFace wrestling analyst/fan.
A couple I'm surprised aren't on this list I've recently concidered rewatching the blending rivalries of Undertaker Vs Batista/Undertaker Vs Edge but especially Edge Vs Undertaker
Christian v Randy Orton in 2011. Hugely underrated feud. Every match had something new and different from the other, and all great. They made each other better. Both great workers. We seen an emergence of Christian into a title picture. Orton's in-ring creativity, and workrate improved by combining with Christian. The feud carried the Smackdown brand for a period.
Let me throw one out there, The Rock vs. Triple H, being my favorite feud/rivalry of all time.

I've been on a scavenger hunt across all the wrestling pages on KZread trying to find videos like these to help me get into new wrestlers or new matches. Adam Blampied comes through in the clutch once again 💯💙
If you don't want to support WWE, understandably, here's some feuds from other companies that I think are well worth watching. NJPW: Tiger Mask vs Dynamite Kid Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Kazuchika Okada Stan Hansen vs Antonio Inoki AJPW: Mitsuharu Misawa vs Jumbo Tsuratsu Mitsuharu Misawa vs Toshiaki Kawada ROH: El Generico vs Kevin Steen Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McGuinness CM Punk vs. Samoa Joe TNA/Impact: Kurt Angle vs Samoa Joe AJ Styles vs Christopher Daniels Motor City Machine Guns vs Beer Money
DX had 5 attempts at the streak collectively
That was an awesome list. Great memories there. Worth the watch again for sure. Thanks for that Adam!
I loved the KO vs SZ feud as well. I swear Sami and Kevin can tear the house down at any given time. I still remember when they came to RAW and immediately started hitting each other like wild coyotes fighting over food. Cherry on top - The audience changed FIGHT FOREVER and it made me shed a tear.

The Horsewomen series is close to my heart because they were the matches that got me back into wrestling after not watching since childhood.
I actually watched the AJ Lee-Paige stuff from the night after WrestleMania 30 to WrestleMania 31.
As a fan of Tag Team Wrestling I highly recommend the feud between British Strong Style and Undisputed Era. The are four main matches: two from the UK Championship Tournament in 2018 (one of them being a 3-on-3 match, the other the tag one for the NXT titles), next they fought again at the July 11th episode of NXT and the last match was at Takeover Brooklyn 4. And also you can watch all the matches between UE and Pete Dunne, their all are amazing. All of them are fantastic.
Been waiting to see what list you would make this week. Well done Adam.
“4 woman no horses” 😂🤣
Adam is 33 and honestly, despite watching the man for 6 years I still thought he was like 23

Everything that happened to the World Heavyweight Title in 2008 from the Rumble to Survivor Series was just perfect.
Thanks guys i been binging!
This is a beautifull video thank you
The Cena vs Punk feud up to MITB 2011 was fantastic. I literally watch whatever segment of it that I can find on youtube.
Been bingewatching everything since the network premiere of Smackdown in 1999. Now at year 2000- during the McMahon-Helmsley era.
My fav feuds..Tito Valentine and Bulldogs Harts ..I would also reccomend Flair Steamboat
Now all we need is 10 bits of Interesting Information about the Royal Rumble videos from Blampied and WrestleTalk will be complete
Pleased to have witnessed part of the Edge & Christian vs Hardy vs Dudleys feud live (with the random inclusion of X-Pac and Justin Credible) at Insurrextion 2001 Also on the card was Benoit vsAngle in best of 3 falls, Jericho vs Regal and American Badass Taker vs Stone Cold & Triple H in a handicap match
They might not compare to the ones on this list, but I loved the Trish Stratus vs Mickie James storyline and Eddie "I'm Your Papi?" Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio was a bit ridiculous at times with a child custody ladder match, but it was amazing.
I just wanna point out the network used to have collections for these kinds of things and took it away

We missed you Adam. Glad you’re back.
Thanks a bunch Adam!
Some of these are not WWE or they don’t only take place in WWE but they are still very good. An absolute classic is sting versus flair. It went over so many years and always classic matches. Another one that went from WCW to WWE is Eddie and Mysterio. I think both Jericho and Milenko and Trish and Mickey James are are very entertaining as well. There is also the angle and Benoit rivalry from 2001. Also mankind versus the undertaker. There are so many great feuds I could honestly go on and on.
You’re amazing at what you do, Adam
I've been going back and rewatching the Heath Slater undrafted storyline from 2016. It's so good y'all.
I’m so hyped that wrestle talk got Adam!!
Something similar to "Adam's Pipebomb" would be great.
It is really nice to hear adams voice again. I hope you're doing well sir
I recommend the Feud Adam Blampied and Adam Pacitti had at WhatCulture it was a twisting winding complex narrative spanning many months and many years based on who could be the biggest wrestling nerd virgin.
Listen to Adams voice in lockdown it’s wonderful
Bret vs Owen is an feud I binged through OSW Great feud I loved hearing them react to it. I finish it off with survivor series 94 which has that great bob Backlund remix
A new adam blampied video is always the highlight of Sundays
I just watched owen and Brett's feud yesterday. Crazy.
I kinda liked the Cody vs Rey Mysterio feud. I felt like each time they had a TV match it was better than the previous one, like they got to know each other more and more and push themselves further each time
I love the Gargano Ciampa feud and I could also through in the Cole Gargano feud as well
PWG's Mount Rushmore storyline from 2013's BOLA finals all the way to 2016's anniversary show is easily the best storyline in Indy wrestling history and was the most influential thing to the existence of AEW (including Bullet Club). It's hard to put together a time table because different incarnations of the group occur (Adam Cole, The Young Bucks, a few other names you DEFINITELY know but I won't spoil here) but all you need to know going into it is that 1) the 2013-2016 PWG roster has literally all of your favorite wrestlers in NXT, AEW, and New Japan 2) Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole were career rivals then and 3) Kevin Steen (Kevin Owens) and Adam Cole had a blood feud for all of 2012.
Fun fact no mercy 1999 was two days before I was born two years later I started watching wrestling and that Hardys vs e and c match was the first and fav match
How do people actually go about binging a wrestling feud? I find if I just watch the ppv matches I feel like I'm missing out on the story but it seems p difficult to track down every promo, vignette, brawl etc. Any ideas?
On the other side of the HBK v. Y2J feud, The Undertaker v. Edge feud was also great
This list is pretty recent past heavy, but Bret/Shawn was some pretty fantastic long-term real hatred played out onscreen, and Bret/Austin was an amazingly underrated feud. Great segments, great promos, incredible matches, and it felt like the two of them legit hated each other. Also...Hogan/Andre was a classic golden age feud that got more fan reaction and interest than maybe anything in wrestling history.
Adam, thought I'd throw you another great name for the Undertaker (as if you'd ever run out, you clever boy you). This one would have to apply to young Undertaker, right around his debut, because that's when he still had the fluffy, curly hair: Morbid Daniel, the Zombie Spaniel.
Is there any way to watch a feud in its entirety on the Network? or do you just have to find everything you're looking for? I've always thought it would be a great idea to have a "Feuds" section where you get the chronological weekly build-up segments (possibly just as a promo for times sake? Idk) that then lead to main matches.
This video is the strongest threat I’ve had to my productivity in a long time.
Oh hey in that picture of Adam and Brock, I wonder what logo was on that Mic lololol *Smarky Smark Noises*
I'm not exactly sure where it starts but midnight v rock n roll would be amazing to sit and watch begining to end and I know they had many non televised matches so watching it all would be impossible
Wrestle talk acquired Adam?! I’m so hyped!!
Little underrated, but I think Mankind Vs Rock was one of the best ones, too. Despite a short length, seeing Mankind get screwed and betrayed by McMahon after all he’s done, then going for the title, ultimately winning it at the LOUDEST POP AND MOST DEFINING MATCH in the Monday Night Wars, was a treat in itself. Also as brutal as the Royal Rumble match was, I feel as though it makes it more special.
-Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens(eventhough they still don't have a proper ending) -Cena vs AJ Styles -Cena vs CM Punk -Jeff Hardy vs Edge -Lita vs Trish -AJ Lee vs Paige -New Day vs The Usos -Rey vs Jericho -Undertaker vs Randy Orton -Keith Lee vs Dijakovic

HHH Vs. Shawn Michaels! My favorite feud. Spans from Summerslam 2002 to Bad Blood 2004. All of their matches were brutal
Woah a wrestling video in these dark times that is actually useful
Those triple threat TLC tag matches were the best matches ever
I would put the Mick Foley vs the McMahon-Helmsley reign of terror. Start from the Foley call to arms to his pink slip match with the rock to him stopping DX's plans at every stop till he is forced to be rehired. The go through the whole cactus jack transformation all the way through to Foley finally getting to live out his dream an main event Wrestlemania. This was the story that took me from being someone who watched wrestling once a in a blue moon to being someone who was hooked and havent stopped watching since
I remember as a kid seeing Bret Hart raised on the shoulders of the babyfaces at the end of WM X, and Bret asking Owen to come to the ring and celebrate with him, and Macho opening up the ropes - with Owen selling the feud. It was great drama at the time
The whole Broken Matt Hardy saga. From the last month or so of Big Money Matt, all the way through to the Expedition of Gold, makes for a great isolation binge watch!
Austin vs Hart my favorite feud of all time
Cant believe you missed out on the all important best feud ever! The Rock Vs The Hurricane
