We have heard and seen occasions where humans saved the lives of animals on social media and news platforms. Recently, one was circulated on the media about a man punching a bear to save his dog’s life. There was also another where a retired soldier saved his puppy from the jaw of a gator. But we all ain’t living to listen to just a single story, right? As humans have rescued animals’ lives on different occasions, so have many animals too. In this video, you will see different occasions where animals, dogs especially, saved humans from dangers and near-death experiences.
10. Lions Rescued a Kidnapped Girl
I don’t know if you heard this story too. But there was a time it flooded the internet that a 12-year-old girl was kidnapped by some men. She was walking through a narrow path from school when the men crossed her way and kidnapped her. They took her into a deep forest, perhaps to unleash their evil plans on her or call the parents to extort them for a ransom.
But a pride of lions chased away the kidnappers. What do you expect to happen next? Well, normally as we view animals, everyone would have thought that the lions would devour the poor girl who kept sobbing ceaselessly. But the lions surrounded her without even trying a scratch on her.
Police came to rescue her the day after. The lions left when they saw police coming. Well, it was mysterious to non-lion experts why the carnivorous beasts suddenly became angels. But experts claimed that the way the girl was crying put the animals off. They believed that the lions felt she cried like their cubs and so must be taken care of as one.

9. Gorilla Rescue Boy
Gorillas are known for their power and brutes. But do you know that these human cousins could be kind too?
If you remember the story of a three-year -old boy who fell into the pen of gorillas at Brookfield Zoo in Illinois, you’d agree with me that animals too could be angelic. It was almost unbelievable.
A gorilla can destroy a fully grown man in a matter of minutes, how much more a kid? But instead of this gorilla to do so to this child, the motherly creature surprised everyone that witnessed the scene. She dropped her baby and went ahead to pick the little boy and delivered him to the rescue team. There was no hurt whatsoever, except for the injuries the boy sustained when he fell.
The Gorilla then went back to pick her baby and breastfed it. You wonder if this was the same world where humans abandon even their own wards.

8. Lulu Saves JoAnn
When Lulu, the beautiful black pig, was given to a woman for birthday, she immediately rejected it. Actually, not many people will want to accept a pig for a birthday gift. But the mother of the woman accepted the poor pig and took good care of her. They were living together as friends.
But on a fateful day, JoAnn realized that she had not only accepted a pet, but a savior. That day, JoAnn had a heart attack, and there was no one to rescue her. She was home alone with Lulu, the pig. When Lulu saw her, she was petrified. She somehow opened the latch and went to the road, placed her mouth on the road and stopped vehicles. But people didn’t understand her. She went inside and came out again, until a man decided to check what was going on inside. The man found JoAnn lying down and fighting for her life. Immediately, he called 911.

7. A Whale Saved a Snorkeler from a Shark
Waters with shark are danger zones, we all know. But this fact doesn’t stop snorkelers from daring the sea often. When snorkeler Nan Hauser dived into the sea, she didn’t know that she would be seeing something entirely different from the previous experiences she had been familiar with for over 28 years of snorkeling.
She hadn’t dived too deep when she saw a whale trying to tuck her in her fin, doing just everything to protect her as a mother does her child. At first Nan Hauser didn’t understand what was behind the whale’s strange behavior. But she needed just some seconds to look around and realize what danger she was in.
Just a little distance away, a shark lurked around, seeking the opportunity to strike. But Nan was lucky enough to quickly understand her adopted mother’s message, so she quickly got out of the shark’s territory.
The shark wouldn’t have been so pleased with the whale.

Today, she's still with us, and experiencing this firsthand has made me truly appreciate the profound gratitude one should feel for the presence of animals in our lives*

Once my mother had breast cancer and my dog kept sticking her nose in between them I kept taking her away but she just kept coming back my mother then said she was felling a bit off . I suspected it was something to do with the breast so I rushed her to the hospital. MY DOG IS A LIFE SAVER

When I was two I was attacked badly by a stray dog. He almost killed me. A 2nd dog came along, grabbed me by the back of my neck and pulled me to safety and then protected me from the 1st dog until I was able to be saved by adults. I know I’m alive today because of that second dog who was brave enough to help a little baby.
*I appreciate the initial focus on people saving animals, and now it's heartwarming to see how animals can reciprocate and assist humans!*

When my dad was young he had a horse and very often he used to go riding in the country side. One day something scared the horse and dropped my dad. When he realized my dad was not moving, he returned to the stable and made people to followe him back where my dad was. He was always telling this story with tearfull eyes .

My cat saw me one morning in the beginning of a diabetic coma . He ran to the other side of house , took a running leap onto my chest and stomach. He (Enzo) , being a strong and bid orange tabby was able to jolt me back. Before I felt I was talking to friends , when I realized , they had already passed away and that's when the jolt saved me. Enzo will always be my hero.

As a child I was playing in the yard. My collie tramp barked and barked. My parents ran to me in time to see tramp grab a rattlesnake that was approaching me. In the fight the snake bit tramp multiple times, he did not recover There was no anti venom shots then I never forgot that brave guardian that saved me.

Dolphins have been known to save humans from drowning and also from sharks before, this isn't the first time. Very unusual for a sealion though, they normally keep well clear of humans who go swimming.

I think you're right dogs are beautiful creatures And they look out for us the most they're beautiful and I think that is why I everyone should have a dog snake cat or any type of pet really because I could save a lives even if we don't think we'll meet it that's why I hate it when people leave pets out because while leave out a perfectly good aid when you can literally have as your best friend companion snuggle buddy and the person who takes care of you most
Back in the 1970s I was bullied so bad I would get off the school bus and hide in a field near my home. Eventually my mum would come to find me. After that she always came to collect me. Love you mum xx

Dogs can smell cancer on your breath too. There have been cases where a dog sniffed at their mouth and let out a small whine and repeated it several times as if to tell them something was wrong. On those occasions, they have found out they were in the early stages of cancer that could be treated fairly easily. So if your dog ever does that to you, get it checked out straight away, it could save your life.

Janurary 2021 I was at Poland and it was snowing heavily.I was going down a hill and almost hit three cars on a bbusy road below.My german shepeard pulled the strings,stopped me before i died at the age of 11. i will never forget that hero dog❤

My dog saved myself and my family from a fire 16 years ago. Sadly no longer with us I will never be able to thank my Hugo the English setter (a rescue dog) enough. We had him for 14 amazing years. He’s tattooed on me forever. Thanks to him my two children and my family were safe.

Totally agree. Humans have failed the animal kingdom miserably. We were supposed to be stewards to all the beautiful creatures on this earth and instead we have abused, tortured and hunted them. It's so sad and shameful. There's so many more abusers than there are rescuers. It boggles the mind! You can definitely judge a person by the way they treat animals!

I remember when I was 4 my mom brought my dog ava home and me and my brother saw her when we were outside and the ball we were playing with went into the road and a car was coming and my dog slipped out of my mom's hands and saved me. Her leg was only injured. She is 6 now

Sometimes we can hurt animals and they can still be kind and have love, but sometimes we can show people kindness and love and be hurt I think that we should all be kind to each other, ourselves and animals.

When I was a baby just able to crawl, I was left in our front yard on a long sidewalk that had a gate at the end of it. We lived deep off in the country & we had a big dog named Pogo. That particular day a huge bull was running to charge at me because the gate was left open accidentally. The bull was in full attack mode & would have killed me had it not been for Pogo. He barked & snarled at the bull & literally saved my life. The bull ran back into the pasture. My Mama came running & picked me up but our precious dog with the help of God saved me. As I got older & was told the story, Pogo & I were inseparable. Animals are truly amazing & can sense danger. I will never forget him. 😢

Use to have a dog Hali.. we had to put her down 2 weeks ago and she saved my life was choking on a bead and she started barking and went to the next door niebors and got them to come and they called 911 she saved my life and I will always thank her for that

Animals are always there when you need them.God loves everyone on the earth 🌎. My favorite animal is bunnies and rabbits because they are so adorable
They are always angels to me no matter what.
I was at home one day with my dog and I was having a shower at this time I was feeling very sick and the water was really hot. When I got out of the shower I felt really dizzy. On my way to my room everything went pitch black and I felt like I was falling after that I didn’t remember anything besides waking up in the hospital. I was there with my neighbours and they had said that heard my dog barking none stop so they had decided to come into the house because they had a spare key too the house and when they came in I was unconscious on the floor so they called 000 as well as calling my parents. They also said that if it weren’t for my dog that something bad was probably going to happen. Ever since I have been so great full for my dog 🐶

Not ably have pets saved people physically but let's not forget companion animals. My son has some issues and because of my mental health problems we knew about companion animals and that have saved both of us even though he has his own family and I have mine thay have really saved us
Pets are amazingly powerful
That is sweet that these animals save these humans
