That's insane peaking at 20hz must be moving a ton of air.

@@ParkerTheBasshead how does it peak at 20hz? Isn’t that well below box tune? Also the cabin is so small that it can’t simply peak that low. To peak at 20hz your box tune would need to be 15hz or something silly. I think there’s something funky going on with your subsonic and crossover points Over lapping which I’ve seen happen many of times.

Yeah man likewise!!! I appreciate you and hopefully I’ll see you at some other shows in the future
Great job Parker! I hope you're having a great time at the show! We all run into small problems in our builds whether it was from over looking or trying to meet the dead line, shit happens. Lol. Can't wait to see your demos when you post them!
Yup when you built it the first time I didn't see any wood clamps and the glue was a little shy the lack of screws doesn't help either. If you glue it right it spose to be stronger than the wood it self and wood glue should come out of the sides when clamped. Have fun and good luck at the show bass on 🎶👍👌✌️💯🎶 boooom
It’s why I love tubes and not common square enclosures. Tubes are relatively light, modular and unbreakable! I’m a biased tube guy. If making a common square box, you have to brace the hell out of it which is necessary, make a thick baffle etc and can weigh dozens of pounds because of it.
Man, that build turned out great! Glad you got the box fixed before the show. Keep up the amazing work.
ughh i knew it...needed more glue and screws between layers ..box rise and flex is no joke
I like to use a combo of screws and nails. As a framer you learn that screws have pull out strength but no sheer strength. Especially the black sheetrock screws will sheer. You probably can check those screws and see some are sheered. Try a stronger deck screw. And use wood glue not liquid nails. Glue cures faster

Good job on the build also. I am working on a build myself.
One thing I've kinda figured out on my own people, which you won't see in many KZread videos. If you want good loud, clean, bass; never turn up the "bass boost" or "bass" knob on the amplifier. Only use the gain. Some amps may not even have this knob but if it does don't use it. It just distorts your bass and causes the amp to clip easier.
Great build video! Good to see someone with such a serious work ethic! I’m sure your mom & dad are extremely proud of you and they should be!
Loved the series Parker! great build, insane blow power for 2 15s at 20 hz
I just grabbed 2 of those same 15s with a jp 63 can't wait 2 hear it!
Whew, Them bad boys love the lows. Not an spl sub but a knock the pictures off the wall when you drive by. The low lows are the way to go 💯
WoW Parker, Back over 40 years ago I punched out 138 dBs (NCAA Certified) in a 1980 Mighty max P/U with 2 alternators, 2 Batteries, 4 Alpha sonic amps connected to 4 Pyle pro 12 inch and 2 JBL 15 inch subs. I took #1 for SPL going against vans from Orion, Kicker and Cerwin Vega in a daily work truck with a shell. Keep doing what you love to do. !
After ages the video finally came out☺️
Finally the moment I can see those subs move :D
Reminds me of my first build..back in 94 I had a kicker comp 15 in a Toyota tercel on a Malibu 100..went to my first competition on a same day build.i did a 129 at 20hz..was very impressed for a 3cu ft sealed box...
great job bro.. You smiling were smiling so much, you started making me smile, then I am like," why am I smiling ?" LOL.. Its because I remember the feeling of messing with my stereo. Love it !!! keep doing your thing bro !!!
Its great to see this build come together!
Watched the whole series.ton of work to get ready.respect bud
I'm really enjoying this series it's helping me learn a lot thank you!
my man bumpin some upchurch hell yeah
Love the build. And it came together super quick. One tip I wanted to give is I use 5/16 t-nuts and Allen head bolts for holding my heavy subs in place. The t-nuts have a much larger footprint inside the box than any screw or bolt could as well as a much better clamping force due to it using actual metal on metal threads and you can uninstall and reinstall the subs without ever worrying about wearing out the holes. I have even used a small bit of medium strength thread locker on them to keep the bolts from coming loose with vibration. Keep up the great work. I can't wait to see the completed project.

T nuts strip out regularly and suck for heavy subwoofer usage, in my experience. Deck screws are just fine, if the hole strips out, put some thin copper wire in the hole or rubber material and then screw it back in
I use the threaded insert screws. They're expensive, but won't go nowhere! They becomes one w the baffle👍
Cool you were able to fix the box. I love the lows.
Finally! Man! Even that big box can't handle the bass/power! That's so freakin awesome! Can we see the video when you put that in sundown show! Parker the basshead my idol! Watching and supporting every upload of your video here from philippines! 🙌🔊
I've been following this whole setup just amazing work with everyday videos
I have always been a big bass head , ever since I was younger. I'm using a 4500 watt amp to push a single 15 inch subwoofer. Wish I had more money to buy a better 15 inch sub. The one I got now a Rockville Destroyer, and deaf bounce Apocalypse amp. Definitely want to upgrade.
Nothing.like when the systems.all done and it puts a massive smile on the face! Nice setup bro

you are welcome bro , with the box we live and we learn ... all the best at the show 👍👍👍
This is why you should ALWAYS use quality wood glue when building a box. The glue will hold better than the screws. I love your videos. Great build. Keep them coming!!!
Dj Droppn-Droppin beats, low & slow is a great album. Deadly Bass is one of my all time favorites. When tuned low of course
You learn in the process so when you do another build you know what not to do. I build my sub boxes and do nail, screws and construction adhesive with bracing. Going to build a box soon for my 12 inch sub. Can wait to see the sundown demos!!
I'm a sucker for the lows! Moving that AIR!!!
Dude this system is really awesome hits hard asf you did a really good work on this series I wish it didn't end but I hope you do good at the show

This build was amazing 🔥 On the mic those things sound like a Harley🔥🔊
Being a space lover I'd myself love to see some sort of badasses outer space design on a box 😮

Nice work man. Pretty loud for 20hz. 😎👍
Austin is a great guy too! He cares about his customers
Wow them subs was getting it for sure!!!
Nice build and booming system, have fun and BOOM ON💪🏿💯
I realize it was a one man rush job putting that system together and you did great! One thing I'd like to point out on the box build. Back in the 80's (yeah I'm that old) when I built a box I'd rip 2x4's with-wise (1 5/8" x 1 5/8") glue and screw them on every full length internal joint. Back then we didn't take into account the volume that the bracing and the displacement of the woofer itself took up. As Nick Tonniges suggested use 5/16 T-Nuts and Allen head bolts to secure those subs solidly to the box, those self-drilling screws you used aren't going to last and have no where the amount of clamping force of the bolts and T-Nuts. Good luck on the sound competition!
Love your project and those Wheels look nice on that truck sitting real tall
I use to have avatar svls15” loved them , forced to sell rocking old school Sony explods right now . Lol
Bangerrr bruh! You needa upgrade your mounting game to Threaded Inserts and Allen key Machine Screws. I could never go back. Being able to mount and unmount, over and over, and not deal with destroyed baffles, weakened mounting points, ect. Is so nice. Plus the Black Allen Head Bolts look super dope with the raised head. Keep slayin’ bruh.
Heck yeah Parker new box build coming up
Wire ferrules are great. I had a friend keep bugging me to try some after he gave me a few. They aren't necessary but really simplify wire connections are are really inexpensive. I always recommend them now.
damn bro that is awesome 20hz killing it. I wish I didn't live so far from all these shows or else I would be going to them. let's go parker good luck at the show.

That is so cool. I always use screws every 4 inches glue oh don't forget brace on corners and walls
Wow crazy, how it wrecked that box. A friend was running a Kicker CVR 15 out of a cheap box built by a store in my home town. It destroyed the front plate.
Awesome video as usual! Also, do some interior 45s inside the box. Double baffle would have been far better for the box all around and then triple on top but you live and learn so.
@JasonWW2000
Жыл бұрын
The down side to that is you double the weight and double the cost. It really isn't necessary if your smart with the bracing.
I was waiting for this video love this series and the Walmart one
The next box you build make sure you use lots of wood glue, and then caulk your interior seams and joints. It is a nice build best of luck at the show you've put the work in for it for sure.
Nice fast build, congrats
