Hi Dawn, the boat brooch it's a Russian amber from the USSR. It was a very popular style of brooch in 80-90th. I do have the same.

I love the fact that you show appreciation for all types of jewelry at every value level. You realize that people have lovingly assembled collections and that they care about each and every piece. The fact that you do not downgrade, but appreciate almost every piece shows that you're a true lover of vintage jewelry. I'm bringing my 50-year collection to you!

About 25 years ago I went to Macao, China and shopped in a jewelry shop filled with long stringed seed pearls in shades of colors from the whites to pinks and greys. I bought about 20 strands because they were only $5 each. I made necklaces for my granddaughters and myself. I should have bought lápis as well but at the time was not that interested in it. I would have liked to meet this person who collected all that jewelry. It is amazing. Great video.

Bohemian Garnet bracelet on Tombac ( alloy of copper and zinc) looks like a fine late Victorian Bohemian garnet , plethora of lush dark Garnets are fabulous

oh! my goodness gracious! That young woman has a 90's treasure trove! I do hope pricing reflects that this new/old stock was manufactured 40 years ago and should not ethically be sold at 2024 precious metal values. Estate pieces have their own value structures which is acceptable.
