Dawn I watched your video on how to shop for vintage on eBay. I think I have learned to hear that little voice that says this is special when I look at a piece. I have found a Dendritic agate necklace and earrings gold over sterling silver and from my research of the company they were made from the 1800s to the early 1900s. A red dye bamboo large bead and sterling silver bead necklace, Guadalajara green onyx and Sterling silver earrings, cloisonné set of a necklace and bracelet with 18 karat gold clasp. Each cost no more than a grande specialty coffee from Starbucks with the exception of shipping. I still can’t believe I can do this. I know now sellers don’t know what they have or they just want to get rid of it. Again, thank you for your knowledge and time.

Hi Dawn, I am a recent subscriber, having heard about you from Dani, The Niche Lady. I am not a reseller, but have enjoyed looking for treasures for myself and others for over 40 years. The best part is finding something you are drawn to, and finding out later - perhaps when you have found your reading glasses - that the signature on the tarnished earrings you bought for $2.99 (Canadian !) are Tiffany, or that certain pottery pieces you liked are pieces valued by museums and collectors. The research and the learning is what appeals to me, and I am learning a lot from you. My latest jewelry find at a seniors' centre was a well-made but unmarked silver bracelet, but the matching screwback earrings were marked Dafri, in script. I discovered that Dafri was taken from the owners names (David was a first name of one, and Friedman the last name of the other) and that they had a company making quality costume jewelry in Toronto in the 40's and 50's, but also sold to "New York socialites." I am only rambling because you may not have come across this maker yet, and live on the east coast. There is currently an identical unmarked copper bracelet (comedy/tragedy mask motif) for sale online, and I am convinced it is also by Dafri. Anyway, for a paltry $5 I have had not only entertainment and education, but a lovely piece of jewelry to wear, and a mystery to figure out -- is it silver or something else ? A fun hobby ! Thanks for taking us on your adventures . . . and lately I find myself thinking : "That's a no" ... !

Dawn! I just watched your live sale with Danni. Your scar - I’ve just had surgery for cancer on my face by a plastic surgeon. My on care was amazing. Bio oil x 2 a day plus silicone scar tape - both on Amazon. You build up the time you wear the tape and it will reduce the visibility of your scar. I’ve just started using them and the difference in 3 days is noticeable. In the advised 3 months it’s going to make a huge difference. You can use it on any scar regardless of place or age. I totally get how it makes you feel having them. Mine is from inside my lip round up to my nose and I’m SO aware of it. Hope this helps you lovely xx
