Do you all have a favorite GPS to use on trips?

I current just use my watch! I have a garman forerunner and a suunto spartan sport.

I used the Garmin eTrex series since 2002 which is amazing for long rides since it got 40 hours on AAs. But now I use the Garmin Inreach Explorer+ for any adventure since it has satellite messaging which I find eases my mind while riding in precarious places or conditions. It's always interesting to see if other diabetic cyclists use heart rate and cadence sensors. I feel overload already having to manage the data from the pump, cgm, phone and gps as it is.

Andy! I'm excited by the soon-to-be future where ALL of our health data is pulled into one spot. Using Loop to manage my blood sugar, I am beginning to see carbohydrates on board, insulin on board, alongside predictive blood sugar lines. Having that integrate with heart rate and other info would be amazing. I will agree that it is A LOT at times. The amount of electronics I have to charge between diabetes + film does make me limit a lot of outside devices. Wahoo lasts me an entire week for my daily rides so don't find charging annoying. I'd be interested what it is like on longer tours // using it all day. Definitely will test it out and report back. Happy holidays!

Looks like a great GPS! I have a normal bike computer, but I definitely like the idea of syncing it to my phone, which I can't do currently. Can the wahoo connect to strava and share your rides?

Yup yup. Wahoo easily integrates with Strava and can automatically upload as well. My current flow -> 1) go on a ride (hit start/stop) 2) that route info is automatically sent to Strava 3) Ideally, I'd log in on the desktop Strava to upload high quality photos + notes about the ride.
