As a 7th grade science teacher, I love your videos because your speak so much about genetics. We spend about 4 weeks covering genetics in our curriculum and I frequently pull up one of your vids to give real life examples of important concepts. This is way more fun for the kids then a worksheet of 15 Punnett Squares. You're a great teacher. Thanks for the great resource.

This is probably due to random crossing of geckos and genetics from large scale breeders that just want to pop out as many as possible for stores. You really can't trace their genes. You can't know what other things the gecko has in it's bloodline which means they are nearly impossible to breed and sell to other breeders. Breeders definitely want to know what they are buying that they can't physically see on the gecko. This is why breeder geckos are far more expensive, because they know what genes are exactly in the gecko from knowing what the parent's parent's parent's were.

Brian, you should really consider working with a few Tokay Gecko morphs. There's some really beautiful color morph. Some morphs are so confusing, people that have been breeding them for about 10 years, still can't figure out certain genes. Plus you don't mind getting bitten by snakes, so a Tokay bite shouldn't phase you. haha

Hello. I am a leopard gecko breeder, I am currently line breeding tangerine tornados to see how orange I can get em. So anyways currently I just have them in stacked tubs in a heated room, and I'd like to get them into a rack system. I love you ones you guys have and was wondering who you purchased them from or how you built them. And also, how do you use the heat tape? Do you put it on the tub or in the back of the shelf? Thx!

I know you touched lightly on this topic, but if you could go more into depth-- I apologize if i'm not making very much sense, long day and I have feeder crickets chirping in the background lol. But yeah just to sum it all up just a beginners video on Leopard gecko genetics

Biting his own tail repeatedly and form big wounds. I keep him far away from it as possible, but accidents happen. do you know any reason why he would react that way? there aren't any vets in my area that knows why. :( love you bro!

hi guys just want to ask a question , I have a lepard gecko he is about 6 months, the problem I am having is he isn't eating as much as he had been, I am also new to being a lizard parent , so I am worrying a little , now my beardie, is growing great and eating shedding a lot, I got him when he was about 3 months , they both are sweet and have personalities . ...I do give both my little guys calcium and make sure their habitats are clean daily, and deep cleaned weekly, so if you could help let me know oh my Leo's tail is meaty , I know that's where they hold their food if it becomes scarce, so do they hibernate and eat less in winter!? Thank you in advance for your videos and education on these subjects
