1 Year Secret Primitive Stealth Shelter | Moss Roof | Bushcraft | Survival | Wilderness Hut
Ойын-сауық
Building a primitive bushcraft stealth shelter in the woodland from start to finish. I built a secret stealth shelter in the wilderness and then lived in it along with my dog, Amber. The roof, door and bed were constructed using dead wood, collected from the woodland.

If only my wife loved me like my dog! Dogs are the only creature on earth that love us more than we love ourselves. . . Amber is exceptional full of love and life! Very sweet girl! You Sir are an inspiration and that truly is the highest praise one man can give another! Health, Continued Success and Happy Trails!
It was impressive to see you construct a shelter without any tools at all. It proves that it's possible in an emergency situation.

First time seeing your channel. Nevermind the critics. Your video shows how to build a shelter when there is nothing. Amber is beautiful, well trained, abundantly loved and I'm so happy you take her along. Guess leaving her at home might be best to quiet the viewers who are missing the entire point of this video. Appreciate your time and the info you shared. You two take good care and keep on sharing!

I find it hard to believe that the moss would keep you dry if it rained a lot, a sprinkle yes but not a lot of rain. There is nothing worse than waking up cold and wet.❤❤❤❤
@asterismos5451

I'm more concerned about the fact that this is in a ditch of sorts. All the water from the neighbouring hills would drain onto the floor here. The elevated bed helps loads but before this it was a problem. Nothing worse than waking up soaking wet. I think with rain a few drops would come in but it would protect the person a lot more than just being in open air would.

Enjoyable to watch and much ASMR qualities. Thank you for avoiding annoying music.
Finally! You break wood the same way I always have. For many years I have watched so many people Sawing and chopping limbs in half.
Love love how you pay attention to your dog and let her share a mat to sit on have her inside in the warm shelters....Pat her and care for her love your video's as well...❤
Idk why but the little "up periscope" shot of the stove pipe killed me. On a serious note: Grade A content, sir.🎉

The shelter was beautiful. I love the use of moss for shelters, it's beautiful. Also, i love your dog, such an awesome companion, and I'm always jealous of the delicious food you make. Gets me hungry every time. Your videos always pique my sense of adventure, my love for animals and the outdoors, and my spark for the culinary arts. Delicious food just for him. The dog has to eat boring and unhealthy industrial waste. Disgusting. I cook fresh food for my dogs every day, meat, vegetables or they are fed raw.
I love the cuddles before bed with the doggo ❤

Amazing how it blends so well into the scenery of nature's conceal through wise application of keeping it secure without making it obvious. Excellent way to utilize without destructing, but rather resourcing what is available from natural riddance like limbs, covering, and branches. Awesome!
I love watching bushcraft videos, this was one of the better ones. I'm only 20 minutes in and I love that there isn't any talking and you're just doing it. It's relaxing to listen to. Also your dog is so good! So well trained!

Freaking loved this video even though it was a year ago us backwoods people knw how to do stuff like this but City folk don’t even knw how to put some sticks together and make shelter and that’s for a fact keep these coming man LOVE IT AND THE DOG SHES AMAZING AS WELL ❤
Your dog is a pro !! She found a root the ones you, use for your crafts. She learns real fast. That's awesome!! And she showed you.
Bet that dog was hungry 😆
Bravo super jolie belle abris beaucoup de courage vous avez un jolie chien
I remember seeing these being made from just things around the house. Take a paper egg carton, not the foam ones, fill them with dryer lint and pour some of the wax/alcohol mixture over them. You can tear one off and keep the rest for the next use. Great way to use recyclable items you have around the house.
im impressed of quality of these primiive ovens, pots, and even handmade plastic bottles. very nice promitive shelter
looks like a giant barfed in the woods...cute hut tho

Nice shelter. Don't forget to put a berm around the outside to keep the run off out, as it is in a draw. You'll be flooded out in a storm or during the thaw. Otherwise, good job.

Very harsh on the real Sewer Rats, I’m sure they have more about them than the (can’t think of any words to describe them) Loved watching and joining you on this amazing journey and this videos just shows how much of an amazing guy you are, some people would have just left and let it go to rot and ruin but you still had the decency to ‘waste’ your time cleaning it up again. Please do us all a big favour and find a new spot if you decide to leave this one forever! Respect mate, you’re one of the good ones!!!

Love those photos of the tree fungi !!! As your shooting your scenes and activity. Need more, it's relaxing. Here's an idea. Just capture all the beautiful fungi formations. And I bet the smell and taste of the edible variety is splendid. It's fascinating to me.

Ahh yes. So peaceful. Just nature, a man & his dog. .. He's showing you how to be a survivalist, without telling you He's a survivalist... given by the only narrative comments he made we're the occasional "mmmm!" After a deliciously prepared and cooked meal ... and the well behaved antics of his little pupper cracked me up a few times, especially when he wanted to help dig in the hole, and pretend like he wasn't begging for snacks, classic!! 😂 👍
Congratulations, you transmit a lot of ease when it comes to preparing everything and you cook very well! You can also make tea with orange or tangerine peel!

I have been building shelters for many years and found that moss alone still lets in rain. I always carry a tarp for that reason. I guess I have trouble with moss only. I do put it over the tarp to keep the heat in - seems to work a lot better.

Yeah, I would say he definitely didn't build that type of structure correctly. First he didn't use enough straight poles in the frame. to many big gaps. Then should have been a thick layer of debris leaves. Then another thick layer of that pete dirt over the leaves. Then the moss. Plus the angle of the structure was to steep. He should have dug out the ground so you could step down into the living area. I lived off grid for 14 years. You really want your structure to last more than a few months.

i did: wonder if rain got in; especially if heavier rain, so i too would use a tarp or waterproof bldg cover.

So many comments that could be made about this video by myself: the shelter has held up so well for a year and you refurbished it as needed. The stove is a fine bit of kit and is well-positioned in the shelter for both you and Amber to find 'favorite' positions. On this final outing, 'cooking good out in the woods' turned out to be cooking simply. The food was still tasty and sustaining. I suppose that, in Britain, baked beans are mostly reserved for breakfasts.

This is making me hungry, and so even though it is past 4AM, I am seriously thinking about heading out to my 24/7 McDonalds in order to grab either two or four McDoubles, as they are actually the best dollar-for-dollar sandwich that they make. Yes, I know that they are absolute crap when compared to what this guy is enjoying, but perhaps with the addition of some fries and dipping sauces, I can return home, turn off the lights in my bedroom, turn on my space heater until it glows red, click on a KZread video of a rainstorm, and then pretend that I'm roughing it in style within the comfort of a well-constructed lean-to, as opposed to being a lazy guy who is located in a posh section of one for the world's most major cities.
Dogs are so funny 😂 great video bro
