The rise of the far-right is on a lot of people’s minds - but what is it like when a far-right party actually gets into power?
When Giorgia Meloni and her Brothers of Italy party gained the highest vote share in last year’s election, Europe watched with bated breath. After all, Italy is one of Europe’s most populous countries and biggest economies - it has enough weight to destabilise the EU. But so far, Meloni has been showing a cooperative face at the EU level, while pursuing a far-right agenda at home. Is she playing a double game? Well...it’s not that simple.

    Narendra Modi government in india represents right wing politics and they are super popular to the extent that they have decimated the opposition. They have delivered development, investment in local manufacturing and infrastructure development, and a solid geopolitical strategy.
