@Fishing With YakPak I live in NY and there are some great fishing locations in my area but the big issue is many of them are private. If you do come to NY I suggest the state parks like Rudd Pond or Lake Taghkanic. They have campsites and cabins too. I also want to shout out White Pond and even the Ten Mile River too. Smallmouth were introduced to the Ten Mile and there are also good size trout if you know the spots. Lots of good fisheries in Copake as well. My go to place was Putnam Lake but BASSMASTERS has sunk its claws into it and it now requires permission and stuff.

Yakpak, you could have grabbed it behind the head and took the hook out then threw it back, im not very happy on how you handled the alligator, and that line could 100% get hung on some causing it to drown/ die of starvation. I understand it’s a alligator but I feel like y’all could have helped it a lot better then you did. But besides that great video loved it!

@@FishingandAtvs I kinda agree with the gator release being not that great. I think that being a Florida fisherman should mean that outdoorsmen should carry a gaff or snake pole. A catch all pole too... I get it though. They do carry lots of diseases and it was just big enough to do damage if it got one of them. Aside from that, Yak has been the more active out of all of the boys. Thankful for the great content Yak has been throwing at us on the regular.

Btw dog days of summer are some of my best days I've literally been catching 8 to 10 bass in a couple hours last few trips. Upper 90s and real feel temps over 100 degrees. It's all about knowing techniques and where to find the fish. Those lillys would be a heaven for me lol.

As for the silkiness of Japanese reels I prefer reels to be silky smooth when steady retrieving lures that have low drag through water and where there is current so you can actually feel the difference in current or water density when winding the reel.

Fishing this summer has been tough here in Oklahoma. Spring was great and start of the summer was good but that heat moved in and it was 2 months before I caught a fish again. And I have tried everything to catch them. But the reel looked awesome did look bulky but I was wondering if that lights and button was the brake settings somehow. I didn’t see the normal brake disks like you would in cheaper baitcasters just a thought. Love the content brother
