The minimap shows you where the opponents have spawned at the start of game with the red crosshairs (0:34), which after a few seconds go away - can save yourself some scouting next time (or grab the uninhabited quadrant early if you're feeling particularly greedy).

@@thunderhorse689being Grandmaster doesn’t make you omnipotent. It’s a minor thing, but it would slightly optimize everything. He didn’t know about it, as made clear by the fact he scouted the entire map, so why are you criticizing the spread of information?

What really stood out to me was how good the prediction of the outcome of battles was. Instantly seeing what would trade well and not in a very early stage of every engagement.

I don't know why this was recommended to me because I have never played starcraft, but this was pretty entertaining seeing this level of micromanaging. I don't know how someone could keep precise control of so many different units.

I really am surprised by the lack of cross team co-op...barely any of the strengths of the Protos and Zerg were used...Zerg ground forces can be produced very quickly to provide distraction while Protos can focus on building a superior air fleet

Being gold isnt anything that really says youre great but come on why the fuck would you run your entire army into siege tanks? Protoss player made me the angriest, stalker spam against siege tanks/Marines? 10 minutes of talking with your teammates and you have a 100% Win stratedgy, alone because they have 800 supply and he has 200

@@the_rabidsquirel it is not only that, but the zerg didnt try 6 pool the protoss didnt canon rush if the protoss go canon rush, the guy will be forced to send 2 scv after the probe and 4 scv against the pylon, it mean he is unable to build his wall and so the zerg can come with his zergling other terrans can try to rush to made marines or reaper other strategy is baneling or roach for the zerg marines for both terrans mass zealot for the protoss and launch an attack in less of 4 minutes the golds players lack of agressivety

7:08 the Zerg comes to assist the Protoss but the Protoss abandons his Zerg friend lol

Absolutely INSANE! Well done! You did this off of a single starting base! I remember when Beasty did this, he had a few people on his team leave so he had the extra income. Perhaps you could do that vs some higher level players.

Lack of early capital ships helped marc quite a lot. As well as keep on running into tons of tanks. I did not thought this will be possible at all.

The hot keying and movement multi tasking is unreal!

If everyone just proxied like two unit buildings, scouted and rallied at him ignoring any counter they’d win. There’s just no way you’d hold off like 6 Marie’s, 2 zealots and or lings before they can even get a good defense up

That's kind of embarrassing to be honest. I feel like the only way they lose is by running full ground armies into mass-tanks, one by one, and that's exactly what they did. If they just build air units and make sure to take the outside bases then surely there's no way they'd lose.

There will some chance if all would do something what distracts control since 5 minutes - oracles, darks, mutas, ravens, nukes. And also big static defense to prevent harrass. Terrans may do Planetary fortress toss - lands of photons.

The minimap shows the spawn locations at the beginning of each game with big red bullseyes. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. The game gives you that initial scouting info by default. 0:34

That's a perfect example of why StarCraft 2 is the best RTS out there. Skills really matter and that was a skill diff for sure. Such a gap between Gold and Grandmaster.

Tbch I'm not a SC2 PVP player so maybe I've missed something important or maybe don't know about a certain PVP rule/s, but it's hella weird to think that those 4 players haven't grouped all their armies to attack in the same time from different angles like surround him from different sides. Wouldn't that make it so much harder for uThermal to focus and defend? As he said it's not ideal at all to fight 4 different maxed armies at once. Let's be honest they have around 800 supply cap together while he has only 200.

If they all played terran, all built marines only, rallied all units to the mineral line until the jump off moment (fuck expansions, don't give him a surface area to attack), and rushed at 40 supply each, I don't believe it's physically possible for him to hold.
