the refs were too trigger happy, having so many players from both sides with 3 fouls in the first half is crazy.

Pili is good but no one defended her well. Watkins defended her the best but the way the refs were calling the game they were afraid to defend. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Exactly...they couldn't breathe on Pili w/o the refs calling 'ticky tack' fouls. ESPN set it up 2 be a Pili Showcase ...no1 but us root 4 us that's why even as #1 it's still #gamecockwbb vs everybody !

Laughing at how some of these girls don’t even try to win the tip off against Cardoso

I wanted so much to see Utah Pili against my South Carolina Watkins and Cardoso. Now I am convince Pili is no joke. One thing stuck out in this game was the questionable flopping Utah did against guarding Cardoso for a least two offensive fouls. Come on ref Cardoso should have the same physicality in low post as Pili.

Agree. This year they put the "flop rule" in for women's basketball but I have not seen it called yet this year. This game should have had several flops called instead of offensive fouls.

If they don't call the flopping, then you can't keep being stupid about it and keep giving the opponent more opportunities to flop. Cordoso should know smaller players are always going to plan to flop because they can't match her height, and they are always going to try to steal the ball whenever she brings the ball down - yet, Cordoso keeps giving defender chances to flop and keeps trying to dribble in a crowd of players. At some point you can't keep playing stupid.

I watched a lot of Women’s basketball today. I want to preface my comment with I am a huge SC Gamecock Fan. But my eye test tells me that UCLA is #1 and Iowa is # 2. SC is a much more potent team when the Freshman is point. Otherwise, they are slow, methodical, and predictable 😮.
