In this video we share with you a simple drill that will help increase your jump and speed. In parkour and freerunning or pretty much any athletic discipline we train, having speed and hops will help. My brother and I have been fascinated with gaining speed and increasing our jump for a long time. You maybe looking to gain height in your jump to jump further for your precisions, broad jumps, or perform a backflip.
You maybe looking to gain speed to perform parkour much faster and effortlessly glide through the obstacles in your environment. Imagine just a few months from now having that extra speed and extra jump to perform those precision jumps and flips we want to learn. This drill is going to help.
This is drill is very simple but also very effective. We trained this often in track and soccer and saw great results. See to get higher with our jumps and increase our speed we neeed to be training explosive power and develop our fast twitch muscle fibers.
This drill does exactly that in a safe easy way. Find a hill (the steeper you go the more resistance you will add to your workout)
We are going to perform sprints up the hill at 85-90% intensity then walk or jog down the hill and repeat for a total of 10 minutes
Sprints are great for developing our fast twitch muscles and gaining speed. Then adding them on a hill is going to allow nature to add extra intensity and resistance for our muscles.
Then as an extra bonus these sprints in a circuit like this is going to melt fat off our bodies. So if we'e looking to lose some extra fat. This is also a very effective way of doing that as well.

Hey guys. I love your videos. I like the topics you cover. Please don't take this as hate at all... I think you guys should make your videos shorter. I think they have the potential to be very very popular. Maybe you could just make some of your videos small little tips and others have long explanations? I feel as though most of your videos could be called "tips" and I think your Channel would benefit from adding smaller videos. Thanks for reading. I'm gonna do this sprinting drill!

I tried this yesterday, and just realized that I wasn't wearing out quickly at all. I've been doing this every day of my life in small increments by running up staircases two steps at a time at full speed... that's why my legs are so toned... I can't believe it lol
