​@@Whipo0 I'm going to respectfully disagree as a sound designer myself. The way he changed them to fit his vision and found others to compliment the atmosphere takes skill and a good ear. Yes, he's much better at music than sound design. However, that's not to say credit isn't due in both departments.

I swear, every time it's just long enough to recognize the song but just short enough that you can't rock out to it. Truly a rollercoaster of emotions.

I just played the whole game again in my head in under 2 minutes. I tried to think of how many games I know, besides Undertale, where you could do that. One second per song, instant emotional recognition for most of them, take you through the whole game at insane speeds. None. I couldn't think of a single one.

Holy shit the things my characters hear during speedruns Samus hears about 5 seconds of the red brinstar theme before shifting to norfair, Kraid, or Marida. The plumber gets to actually listen Link probably can't hear anything after all those windbombs in BoTW and superslides in windwaker Frisk is . . . Dead And kirby is deflated.

I had a PHYSICAL reaction to this, so many emotions and memories came flooding in so quick that I didn't know what to do! This game was the game that legitimately changed my outlook on life for the better. Hearing so many jumps from somber, to happy, to pure fear, made me overwhelmed. This video was truely an experience!

I love when two tracks transition to each other so seamlessly like with the two MTT news tracks 0:56 and the two Asgore tracks at 1:15

I absolutely love how memorable all of these songs are, I recognized a good, 90% of them just from it. Truly what Toby Fox made is a masterpiece.

me listening to my spotify's playlist songs premieres (the little part featured in the list)

This is a great way to make an unsettling atmosphere. The constant change is sooo keeping me on my toes.

this OST has been so apart of my childhood that I can pinpoint exactly what the song name is and where it plays in the game after just hearing a second of it. I truly love this game from the bottom of my heart.

I don't know if i should be more concerned about the fact that not only could my mind successfully name off the exact track names of every song in this soundtrack but i could perfectly picture in my head the exact moments in the game where these tracks play, or that i can do this without playing through the game more than once. And I don't even like it as much as I used to.

I've never actually played through the game to completing, but the ost is so damn good that I could recognize a solid 70-ish percent of the music

@@お.茶 problem is more that I don't have enough time to, after factoring in my 12 hours sleeping, my 5 hours on KZread, my 6 hours on Terraria being unproductive, and my 1 hour spent on college homework I just simply cannot find any time to play games anymore

The undertale soundtrack is a masterpiece, and the fact that I could recognize pretty much every one of them from just one second is proof

although i've only fully played undertale one time four years ago, i remember all of the osts. every single one of them gives me a different kind of happiness, pain or simply nostalgia. undertale is and will always be one of my favorite games

The fact that there's 100 of these and I can tell what most of these songs are by 1 second of them is amazing

you know the song’s good when you can recognise every single song

I can literally imagine playing the entirety of the game from just a second of each track alone. Phenomenal OST. Phenomenal game.

Last time I played Undertale was probably over 5 years ago, yet I still remember everything like it was yesterday. What a great game, one of the only games I wish I could replay for the first time again just to rexperience it all again.

@@justsomemustachewithoutagu3825 not true, toby fox's current project is deltarune (undertale spin off on a different universe), theres currently 2 chapters and soon (not confirmed when) he will release the 3rd one, he planned deltarune to have 7 chapters 👍

why do I want to animate a story with this audio...? I sadly won't be due to me not knowing how to animate But it would be cool to see this animated. Edit: I didn't expect people to reply to this, but to those wanting to animate this here is scene idea's i have. 0:10 Frisk is just dead on the ground, no questions asked 0:19 Frisk is just staring at the ceiling in that one weird cave in Snowdin. 0:20 Annoying dog is just here. 0:23 Frisk and Papyrus in battle stance I guess? or Frisk is just impaled with blue bones with Papyrus saying, "YOUR BLUE NOW!" 0:25 Frisk reading something and having a shocked face. 0:26 Frisk defeated someone! 0:27 Frisk defeated someone. Or just looking over some monster dust I Dunno 0:28 G u i l t . 0:31 Frisk running away from Undyne 0:39 Frisk staring into the multiverse 0:54 Frisk saying "can you really call this a hotel? I didn't receive a mint on my pillow" with prob Mettaton firing a laser at frisk 1:19 Frisk standing in the void contemplating things I guess, or regretting the murder they committed 1:32 Frisk standing at the surface. with everyone else there. 1:38 Frisk is sad now 1:39 Frisk is ded with many bones impaling them, with sans saying "git dunked on nerd" Thats it, the rest is up to you, or just ignore my ideas, ill he happy either way.

The time and DETERMINATION it took to make this fills you with DETERMINATION.

I felt the whole emotional undertale rollercoaster in less than 2 minutes

You scroll through the soundtrack, you get an idea to play one second of every song compiled into one video, and it fills you with determination.

Only real ones can name every song as it comes up

I love it how all the undertake songs have an either slightly different, or completely different theme to them.
