Also, There is some rule on... genderization(?!) but I can't tell how. In polish it just fit. Sounds little rythmical
Very clear, with a lot of examples, excellent video. I hope you are ok. I see you stopped posting. Take care.

How do you know, which syllable is stressed?

From dictionaries, for example "Wiki Dictionary".
Ы , is not ti while extending you jaw only, it is so hard and beautiful ,but i want to hear you pronounce it and if you would use a microphone, about 20 cm from your mouth, witha "popper stopper" thats the round thing you see for example joe rogan using) it would make you voice audible , i need to hear the nuances. You do such great lessons , thank you so much. I would be happy, to explain, how to do easily fix that. I ve been trying to learn russian for the last three weeks, and your videos are great, please continue.

It is a diphthong, from "u" to "i", as in the American "-ly" (perfectlы). But not like in the British =)
sorry, Irina, you say eta , then at 6:21 you say eto stressing the o, I'm a little confused.
Website's down and it's been 2 years no new videos.
uh where are the old videos and why the new direction with the channel?
start today :)
Nice video and u look beautiful

Do you study Russian?
On eto, is the eto masculine and the eta feminine? How do I figure when to use one or the other? Is there a lesson on this already
@YaShoom
2 жыл бұрын
Этот (etat) is male. Это (eta) neuter. Эта (eta) female. "Это" and "Эта" do not differ in pronunciation (unless it happens in o-dialects in the north or in Ukraine - but this is rather an exception to the general rule). You just need to keep in mind where the neuter gender is and where the feminine is.

i learned a trick in my class to see what gen is it , if it ends with a hard letter (qwrtpsdfghjklzxcvbnm) is masculine (there are some exeptions but its rare) femenine if it ends with a vocal and neutru if it ends with o or e (o or e cand be femenine only neutrual)

This Is incorrect. You can tell if it's masculine or feminine. Table- стол (Masculine because it ends in "л"). Board- доска (Feminine due to ending in "A")
