I wasn't even near my phone when he started playing it and I instantly knew it was in the style of Metallica. Actually sounded damn decent. Now I want to see them actually cover this song that way!

In my opinion: this was not an easy one to do because of the prominent blues note (b5) in the riff. It throws a curve ball at more melodic acts such as BfMV. Well done!

Avenged Sevenfold part sounds like Beast and The Harlot riffs

Oh, the cure! I love 'em I love how it just comes out of nothing in the middle of a metal band compilation haha. That was spot on.

That Rage version was sweet - but I totally lost it at the Cure. LOL!!

You absolutely fucking NAILED the RATM riff and I really want that as a full RATM song.

Yeah I am gonna need a full cover of the RATM version.

The Cure style gave me a chuckle, but I think my favorite version was the Rage Against the Machine one. Maybe Project 86 for a future style?

Idea for an offshoot of this series: riffs in the style of different songs by the same band, e.g. something like 'Cowboys From Hell' in the style of 'Cemetary Gates'.

It's really interesting to hear basically by which song/riff from a band you've been inspired when doing this. RATM reminds me of Bombtrack, BFMV reminds me of Tears Don't Fall and the A7X one is similar to Beast And The Harlot.
