I feel like this topic is more of an education for men than women. There are men who are smart enough to be able to read historical clues and general body language. I don't know how men come up with the hanging out in a private space = invitation for physical intimacy, especially if there has been NO signs of romance leading up to that day.

It is real easy to misread a setup when you are not the type of person who is use to being in that type of situation. You are not thinking he is gonna try to do something because that's not where your mind is. If/when it does happen, that is when the female reacts the way she does because she's in disbelief that you tried that..genuinely. That wasn't a thought in her mind, sadly for him.🤷🏽‍♀️💯

Communication is key here instead of all this mind reading and confusion

As a woman, I would never go into a man's house when he is alone, not knowing there is notthing else and definitely not watching TV in his bedroom

OMG, I lived this with a guy friend, considerably younger than I, I had known for 6 years. We always jived and one day he invited me over to go out and have a few drinks. We did, had a great time, went back to his place, I said no and now the friendship is gone. It's sad; I always thought so much of him as a person. The 3 drinks weren't worth losing the friendship over.

Talk about "mixed signals"~hesitancy is a huge internal flag~should never be overlooked 😮

Dating and intimacy need to have set rules and taught early. When in doubt, don't assume. Sex isn't a given.

I agree 100% but I’ve had female friends who push the idea that you can put yourself in these situations and still not have the guy make an attempt or act like it’s easy to tell the guy it’s not happening and have him listen

The man is tricky. He should actually communicate, then they should both agree, instead of being tricky , sending her to bedroom or house.

What does it mean when a man, a church man is pinching sand gabbing on others at work but looks at you in a wanting way and barely talks to you and avoids you in church and tries to see if you will come up to him.. testing you. This has made me sad and depressed. I know he talks to othe r people about me but I always feel like I’m being tested and thought of as less of when I’m being ignored most of the time.. past tense. And has let me also hear what he wants with other females more often than what he wants to do with me at work. And I know he wants to get married , but it’s like as long as I know he wants almost everyone but wants to be serious with me.. I didn’t know how to act

I was dating a guy who came over one time to watch the Super Bowl with me and during the commercial break, he had pinned me to the floor and I had to tell him to leave. From there, I do not invite men over to my place at all.

She went into his bedroom with him, sat on his bed and is now upset he made a move. You can watch TV in the living room. He didn’t push her into anything but she has nerve being furious over a situation she set up. He’s not a mind reader, she created a problem and now she’s mad. He should run.

Some people have even slept in the same bed but not expected to have sex. You need to have an understanding of what you have with the person. If you’ve known someone for some time and there hasn’t been any flirting or anything a little romantic, what leads you to think they want sex with you even if they are in your bedroom. That said, women can do a better job at being clear

Exactly. We can watch tv in plenty of places but they end up in a bedroom. Now she’s mad. He made a move. He didn’t force anything. Now he’s the bad guy? No, I don’t think so.
