Wow. So powerful and educational! I truly wish there were more programming like this. This world needs a lot of help and faith is a good place to start. The world I grew up in no longer exists. This world is full of sad, greedy, mentally ill people. I wish the younger generation had what we had which was a lot more faith. We’ve taken God out of our lives and that needs to change. I've been seeking Jesus for 50 yrs. attended Christian church then catholic grade school but never found him there. Then became a follower of Jesus on my own. No pew sitting this way. At 61 continuing to seek his face, I became lost still seeking and praying, Our father revealed exactly what I'd been forgiven for. Then my marriage was completely restored along with my mind. All for the glory of God... TYJESUS

I'm so glad this podcast exists, and I enjoyed this interview very much that as soon as it was over, I pressed play again. I needed to hear this. And I have always believed what Kathy said about Jesus and the Bible, I do not read the KJ Bible, I read the NIV. Blessings to all who read this.

I remember one time when I was a messenger in New York I was about 19 years old I bumped into Kathy Lee in the lobby of where they were filming Regis and Kathy Lee and she gave me the biggest smile and I felt her goodness, of course she never knew it but then years later I found out she was a Christian and that's why now I know it was the Jesus she knew. This was such a great interview it encouraged me so much, and I'm so excited to hear that Julie Chen is also a Christian. Two very classy women. Praise God for what he's doing in the film and entertainment industry.

Praise God, they both have found HIS marvelous LIGHT. Alot of people in entertainment and television, doesn't walk that route. They are either too busy, or occupied with their public life, and enjoying the spotlight way too much, to discover and learn the "TRUE LIGHT." KEEP SHINING BRIGHT LADIES.

Whoa.... I remembered years ago about when Kathie was accused of sweat shop. I NEVER BELIEVED IT! I love her spirit and always sensed the truth within her. I myself now 66yo has a very close relationship with Jesus and their are few of us who are just women of God and can forgive those who hurt us and love them and pray for them, why? Wow, what a awesome show, Julie. I'm so happy your walking with the lord. kathy was so good talking about Jesus. I could listen to her teaching about Jesus for hours. A lil of my testimony and giving God all the credit. I'm a 64 year old hispanic female living in Los Angeles , Ca. I'm in Santa Barbara, Ca right now. I have been living in my car for the last five years now, becuz I'm being gangstalked by a network of people that follow me from city to city, 24/7.. I have been lied about from being a thief in the grocery stores to child molestation. . The more vicious the lies the easier it is to manipulate these gangstalking people to be cruel and mean to me. I would never harm a child and I pay for all my products and or groceries at the stores. I have been a true believer for Jesus for over 40 years now. The evil lies are so no one would like me or help me or believe me. The police won't help me cuz I have gone to them several times. One man threw me to the ground twice at a park and the police came and did nothing. A young guy threw his orange juice on my head and I went to the police station with the juice dripping on my face and the police did nothing, at all. I say that to say this. God has always been my strength and peace of mind while going thru all this evil. If I rent a room from someone or rent a lil studio these people call where ever I live and spew so much evil about me and that puts me back out in the streets in my car. So I can relate to Kathy Lee Gifford about being hated for no reason. I pray for these Gangstalkers daily to get their needs met. They are being offered money to trap me to harm me. They need money to pay their bills. They are desperate for money, now a days. Anyway, God is my protector and just know who ever may be reading this lil testimony, Gods strength and peace can get us through whatever trial we all may be going through. I have all 3 of Kathie Lee’s recent books and look forward to reading them. I love your enthusiasm when you talk about your relationship with God and Jesus. I also had an unfaithful husband after 30+years of marriage. When I found out and he confirmed it, I thought about how you faced your situation with grace and forgiveness. I told him that I forgave him (after a day or so of intense prayer and talk with God). My husband has not ask for forgiveness from me but I gave it verbally anyway. He did go to reconciliation so I’m guessing he confessed to God his transgression. Our marriage is badly bruised but we are still together at 44 years of marriage. I feel God brought us together and as long as I can keep my “Eyes Upon Jesus”, God will continue to give me the strength to persevere in this life. God bless you,your family and especially that beautiful Grandson.

I am curious about wood not being in Jerusalem until 1948 when they started to plant trees in the established state of Israel, according to the sweet Kathy. If this is true, then in what vessels did the Apostles fish in? What were the boats made of if not wood? And if wood was used for the boats would they not need a carpenter? Christ came to fulfill the Old Testament, as He made a new Covenant, with these words from St. Luke 22:20 “ This Cup is the New Covenant of my blood” St.Matthew 26:28 “ This is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many”. I challenge Kathy’s knowledge of the Aramaic, against the great scholars of the translators of the Bible. Men who could decipher Sanskrit, Aramaic,Hebrew, Greek, and Latin. I get a little scared when I hear the Supreme Being reduced to 101. I pray that God forgive the ignorance in all of mankind, especially me. However, I do always enjoy anything that brings GOD into the hearts of His children through LOVE.

I feel the same way. I don't know if I am wrong or right here, but whether or not Jesus was a carpenter or builder by trade/profession, it's not that important to me. So I don't know why such a big deal is made of it. The main thing is, and I wanted to hear this in the interview is that Jesus is the Son of God who came from heaven to earth in human form and lived among normal humans, eventually been crucified and dying on the cross so that our sins may be forgiven. Julie asked Kathie who Jesus was to her and I didn't hear the answer. But praise the Lord that Jesus' name is being spoken more and more in the media for good and not as a blasphemy such as is so prevalent in main stream media, movies & series. Don't focus on the fig tree or when Christmas is celebrated or not, but focus on Jesus, serving others and living for Christ.

I respect Kathy for speaking out for God. There is one clarification I would like to comment on. Kathy you are correct, there is only one message one body (human kind) one God (Jesus Christ our Lord). The son of God inherited everything from the father. When the son of God walked the earth he said I come in my father's name. Well the father's name is Jesus and he is the Christ. The son was God's body. Not to be confused God did not become flesh because God is a Spirit he is The Holy Spirit. God manifested himself in that flesh known as the son of God and did his works. Your right when she says the son who was flesh and blood was a Jew came from the descendants of David from the tribe of Judah the son is known as the perfect sacrifice that would attone for the sins of the world. However God the creator of all has no descendant, he is, he was and is the one to come again. The son was a son from birth to cross. One's the son lost his blood the son fulfilled his mission. What resurrected was no longer flesh and blood meaning he was no longer son of Mary. What came back was spiritual. But he came back in the same form same fashion same figure as the son he manifested himself in when the son walked this earth. How else were the disciples going to recognize him if not with the same figure. Jesus Christ is God and God is a Spirit. May God bless us all...

She needs to be careful with the "bibles" she's recommending. The Passion "bible" is paraphrased. See who the publisher's are. There are many that have taken out, and/or added. Also, she did not say, which translation she reads. Please ask the Holy Spirit to guide and direct you. Praying for her.

Oh king james! The book of 'James' was not the original name. 'James' is a gentile name. The name most likly was 'Jacob/Yakov'. Another point - the scripture that says, "Wives, submit to your husbands" never existed! The English lords of the time of James had that inserted because their wives were 'too uppity' in their opinions! I'm in complete agreement with Kathie Lee! I never read or refer to the King James version!
