It's speechless to watch the 1 Meter Koi Fish Harvest in the North of Japan.
Today, I am really lucky to be invited to participate in the mud pond harvest of 80-100cm Japanese Koi at Nagoshi Koi Farm. The mud pond is incredibly huge with the area of 50,000 meter square and 9 meters depth. However, the breeder has only 60 Koi Fish in this mud pond. The Nishikigoi in this pond are Gosanke which are Kohaku, Sanke, Showa and some of red colors variety including Asagi and Aka Matsuba.
The harvest is full of beautiful moment. Every Nishikigoi is high quality with very big body and beautiful color pattern.
