1 Menopause Magic: Come back to your body!
It's time to come back to your body and see that you are powerful! Embodiment is just one aspect of menopause magic, but more difficult than it seems. We have years of conditioning that has drawn us away from the power of our bodies and perimenopause and menopause is your chance to reclaim it.
Let's talk about how powerful you really are!

I was thrown into menopause at an early age…29…due to a surgery because of abnormal cells on my cervic. I went through shock! Then I went through a second menopause around 50ish. I am now 67 and although I did not embrace this phase until a few years ago, within in the past 6 years I have reached a point of pure celebration. The goddess has awoken within me🦋🌸. I take good care of myself on all levels spiritually emotionally mentally and physically. Life is a gift and a joy…and I remember some people don’t have that privilege to reach older years. I have some less than perfect days but not many because Magic is in me and around me❤️ Blessed be

Blessed be! What a powerful reminder that getting old is a gift! May we all embrace it with pride.
P.s. your videos are a welcome refreshment here on the interwebs...there are not many witches out there around our age and stage so your content is extra special.

Wonderful! I'm brewing up another one as we speak...
I am embracing this transition. I feel that this is a truly magical time. I am no longer ruled, and my life no longer revolves around my periods. This feels liberating for me. I feel that this stage of my life is about stepping into my power. Knowing who I am. And a time to focus on me. Yes the hot flashes, waking up at 0300, and mental fog are not fun. But the realization of personal power and new level of self awareness is worth it.

I am discovering so much about myself through this process. It IS liberating. My life feels my own in ways it never has before!
I’ve heard of families that do a ceremony for girls when they have their first period. And I agree we should have some kind of acknowledgment as we reach our cronehood. I have come to embrace my inner Crone. The transition wasn’t always easy, but I love it more and more lately!

I would love to hear of more families celebrating all aspects of womanhood!
I started perimenopause at a much younger age than average. Personally, it gave me both a lot of strength and patience to look at the scientific side of it. To learn how the hormones interact at which normal range and all the places we have hormone receptors in our body that go crazy when they suddenly receive below their expected dose. (Hello oestrogen receptors in the brain, hello brain fog!) This understanding brought a level of acceptance on top of which I could layer magic to come to embrace the process. As witches we are lucky because in traditional folklore witches tend to be older, wise women. And through the internet we can see witches 20-40 years older than sharing their wisdom and craft. I seek them out as role models who offer something I’m still hoping to grow into. It is hugely interesting to me to hear you share your individual path.

So good to see you over here Julia! It really is so individual. I am grateful for all the science out there that has helped me. I'm also grateful for the community on Tarot Tube who gathered round me (people like you) to let me know I wasn't alone or going crazy!!!!!
Thank you for broaching this subject. Yes, please create more instalments on this topic and ramble about all the things. It's hard to find others who feel/want this change to be positive. All my best, Amber

Let us unite and grow this power positively!
I am powerful! Thank you for this; it will help so many! I had my daughter (1st and only child) at 43, so I entered motherhood and perimenopause around the same time. I also spent a few years healing from the birth trauma, limiting what i could do physically. I was somewhat stuck in and by my body, but now I can be with my body as it transitions to cronehood, and definitely feeling more powerful. I don't know if you know of Mags (formerly The Woodland Hag), but she said something along the lines of: entering the crone phase is like returning to maidenhood. 🙏🏼💕🧙🏼♀️

That sounds really intense! Motherhood and perimenopause! This is such a lovely time, albeit challenging, but I believe the rewards are so huge. I also believe we need to reclaim this time as not something to endure, but to embrace with pride!
This is great timing for me! In 2023 I've really started working with the changes that menopause is bringing as I journey into 'cronehood'. Learning to embrace this transition and sit with what it is bringing physically, emotionally & mentally. I look forward to more discussions on this topic!

This was terrific. Thank you. I look forward to hearing more. My almost decade of transition has been filled with extreme fatigue, debilitating body pain, rage, and existential struggle. After a lifetime of sacrificing myself (as taught), this perspective gives me a whole new way to channel and value the process. Life changing. 💗💗💗

THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!!! It has been a most difficult road for me in regard to this area of my life. I had a horrific 1st moon. I looked like a murder scene. Not exaggerating. I woke up and thought I was stabbed. Not only the fluid but the pain (cramps). I literally thought I was dying. From that day on I was down & out for 3-5 days every month. I hated it. To top off, in my family these things were not discussed. So 'the talk' was tense, embarrassing, mortifying. I ended up with cysts, endometriosis, and other issues related to my female parts. I finally had to get a hysterectomy. Celebrating my body & life cycles did not even exist. I WISH I did have that support. Now I am experiencing some form of menopause--terrible hot flashes. It's like my inside is on fire all the time but my outside is freezing. I have to have a heater on me & a window open or fan blowing. I have concentration issues, brainfog, lethargy/low energy; I can't always tell what is my chronic issues & menopause issues. Either way, I feel like I have completely lost myself. This video was very uplifting and empowering. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! Tess

I need to make another installment in this series! It's so important that we support each other during menopause. It's a blessing, not a curse.
I'm pretty sure I'm in peri. I get migraines, dizziness, just feeling yucky for no reason but there's nothing I can point to, and I have to be mindful about what I'm putting into my body because it's a lot more sensitive than it used to be: sugar, caffeine and alcohol can really throw my balance off both literally and non-literally. Thanks for this video, Häxa! xo, A

I got my period at 10 years old! I’ve always had painful periods. 5 years ago I was bleeding so heavy I’d go through a tampon and pad! Came to find out I had fibroids so I had a hysterectomy 5 years ago so it’s hard to tell if I’m going through menopause. I turned 50 in August so I guess I should be staring soon. Lol

I too had fibroids and had to have my uterus out! I have one ovary. I still cycle in certain ways, but its happening. I look forward to sharing more on this.
I too was a late bloomer. My mother was killed in an auto accident when I was only a year old and I had 4 older brothers. The youngest was 5 yrs older than me and my oldest was 12 yrs older. So when I got close to starting my period my father handed me an encyclopedia opened to "Menstrual cycles". that was it. I probably learned more from girlfriends at school than anywhere else. As far as celebrating , I tried to with my granddaughters' but they totally thought I was totally weird. Menopause itself has pretty much been an easy transition other than sleeplessness. Which I hate with a passion. But I can't complain really. I feel blessed. And if you haven't noticed I ramble as well.

The lantern is fire that is (or has the potential to be) moving around, mutable fire - Sagittarius energy which I feel very profoundly as a Sag Sun. I hear the inner calling of coming back to myself, my body, and being a light in the world, bringing something important that comes from deeply integrated lessons I learned so far.

I want to thank you for this video. I recently discovered your channel and really enjoy listening to your teachings/musings. It confirms in me that I have been doing it right all this time but not giving a damn if I wasn't... lol😂. I agree with your assessment of coming back to our bodies. Learning about our own needs and finding creative ways to fulfill those needs, and I can say it matters. Filling your own cup matters. No one will fill it for you, and if you didn't discover that in the maiden years, the fire years, here's your sign!!!❤ Thank you for this channel. I just discovered after 65 years that I'm a witch. It's been an awesome journey🎉

Thank You very much for sharing! This is so precious for me. I'm at my 30ties now and just create my way to this experience. Your way of thinking about this topic really resonates with me. Such a goog metaphor about the fire and the lantern -- I feel the same now being the mother, the daughter and beloved to my boyfriend. As I'm the fire for their needs. And I come to get tired of this all. And I work on my autonomy now. Starting my way in astrology, numerology, tarot and oracles, witchery. Oracles speak to me so magicaly fantastic and just accurate. Even better than tarot for now... Sorry for deviation from the topic))) I'm preselebrating this transformation into the lantern. Please continue sharing on this if you want. This is great discussion to be. And I love the way you challenge the old paradigma of the menopause.

Happy New Year, April🎉 I’ve been on hiatus from KZread and quickly chiming in. I just saw your post about this channel. Perimenopause was probably the most challenging cycle I’ve experienced. Yoga and movement (in various forms) was the key in managing this long transition. I’m in the last phase of the Mother moon and feeling a different kind of shift that has me embracing my practice with a greater sense of Self. My “Hermit” year is definitely utilizing that inner light during this transitional time. Thanks for sharing your experience so others can understand their own journey through others. ❤️🔥🕯✨

I said that I am Powerful and the first thing that came into my head was I feel so tired
