Incredible jig fishing. First time I've seen the bass, bluefish, weakfish, Summer Flounder slam in one spot. We also added a 12-fish limit of jumbo sea bass! This is hard to beat. i hope you never take for granted the fact that you live and fish in one of the most productive fishing areas on earth. most of us (i'm at the nj shore) deal with polluted water, crowds of boats and humans, and severely depleted fisheries. you catch more large fish and more varied species on one trip than anyone i know catches in literally years of fishing. i love your videos and must live vicariously through you because i can't afford to live on eastern long island. thank you for your terrific videos, tips, and insights into the subtleties of fishing.

Went out a few weeks ago in NJ and tried a couple of new spots. My buddy and I caught several weak fish and my first. Can’t speak for him but I had never caught one before. They are beautiful fish and from what I’ve heard good eating but, I threw mine back since I wasn’t keeping fish that day. Another great video John! 😊

It's all about reducing drag in the water. 10# 8-strand braid is thin and smooth and cuts through the water easily allowing the ability to get down and properly present a light jig in deep water.
