#1 LIFE HACK for Motivation & Happiness | A Gary Vaynerchuk Original

If you want to have a successful mindset and the winner's mentality in general, you NEED to get in your own head. You can't make all of your decisions completely predicated on what someone else thinks about you. You are letting your mom, your uncle, your best friend, or your neighbor hold you back right now when their thoughts and opinions should have nothing to do with you.

I'm 28 years old. About to turn 29. For the last 16 years I have conditioned myself to fear what I believe other's 'opinions' will be of me (not even what they actually are) to the point that I have never truly expressed who I am or what I'm capable of. Part of me feels as though I've wasted so much time. Another part of me knows that my path has been my lesson to not settle anymore. I'm finally breaking this fucking wall down, getting clear, focused and beginning to shut out the noise so I can be me. I feel the unstoppable energy starting to escape through the doors that I have held shut for so long. And holy shit does it feel powerful! I know without action, this is all talk. So I'm gonna get to it. Thank you Gary, for your ongoing words and no bullshit approach. Looking forward to Melbourne!

Try this: When it gets noisy in your head, physically tell yourself..."shh". Give your mind that peace. No one is born with gangsta emotional structure, so TRAIN YOURSELF. But when it gets quiet, you can hear the loudest and most toxic voices more clearly. That isn't an excuse to lose yourself to that noise, but rather stare it right in the eyes, and do something about it. Peace and Love #positivitywins

hey @garyvee, i just wanna say thank you so much. i really dont give a fuck what anyone has to say. i dont care about my family members opinion, even my dearest ones. i didnt go to college and decided to pursue what i want. it hasnt been easy, dealing with the dissapointment and shame from family members. working at fastfoods/retail jobs just to get by while putting in work on my free time, but ive learned to block all of it. my passion is music and singing and modeling. i gained the confidence to post singing videos and use social media to my advantage. thank you for helping me be aware of my perspective. im constantly aware of how fucking good i have it. it really helps me whenever im feeling down or doubtful, i just remind myself of how good i have it. i dont remember the last time i complained. one day ill be an artist on the rise and meet you🤣❤️

At first I didn't understand why in talks about success, I trust garyvee's words but not other motivational speakers. But now i understand. It's because gary doesn't just talk. He makes moves and he shows it. He shows all. AND he doesn't focus on money money money or the end game. He focuses on the journey and the process which is what it's actually supposed to be about. Gary is the realest man. Gary the G. The g in GaryVee stands for goat!!!

other speakers about success and shit are just "money money money" "get thus lambo, look at my lambo, look at my mansion, look at my porsche, work hard so u can buy yours" and i dont see myself working my ass off everyday for a piece of metal that has rubber circles or whatever material thing there is, as a goal. its just boring. what pulls me in is the everyday effort. like pushing yourself and seeing how much you can go beyond the limit. constant self improvement. constant self growth. breaking your comfort zones. living not outside the box but living like there is no box (because there really isnt- fuck fear). you kno all these other speakers just go on and on and on about money it actually makes me cringe and not trust them. but gary. I trust in gary. (and that's coming from someone with trust issues due to family probs)

I also had this conversation and it went really well. We talked about how we can be a support system for our goals! Great advice. You mentioned this topic in a previous video. Great to hear again though!

I LOVE THIS GARY!!! I have such a hard time doing this with starting my KZread channel and life as a Traveling Entrepreneur. It was such a hard thing to do I remember the day I told my parents what I actually wanted to do with my life. I have lost just about all of my friends because of this but the sad truth is I am much happier doing what I love alone then I was with them doing something I hate. Thank you for spreading this message it may seem hard but is so worth it in the long run!

@@GoSammyJo Yeah…. everyone naturally “sheds” some old friends/acquaintances/family along the entrepreneurial journey….. but don’t fret-- you pick up new friends & chosen family along the way! That all being said, it can be challenging at times….. as long term relationships exit your story. I don’t think one can avoid it….. just cope with it by doing something you’re passionate about & attracting other like-minded folks!!
