About the BLUE COVER series (2012-2017)
The series began in 2012 and has evolved over 5 years and 12 EP's into a highly respected platform to launch new signings and one-off singles by emerging and developing artists.
Mixing Electro Swing and Blues, the Blue Cover release's have always been firmly aimed at the dance floor. Often appearing just ahead of the summer festival season, (and collected into a 3 volume EP series every 4th release), the ‘anthemic’ qualities of the lead tracks sometimes overshadowed our strong emphasis on high quality production and music that pushed the genre envelope. Now it’s possible to see the complete series as a whole for the first time.
We are extremely proud of this compilation, not only it’s evolution and it’s artwork but in the way it has been a significant player leading the way in charting and bench-marking the development of a world-wide dance music genre. Many of the tracks on this compilation have been floor-fillers at Electro Swing events right around the globe, and many have appeared on the best compilation series that other labels pull together in our wake!
