We can learn by topics in writing task 2, and learn the whole phrases, not just individual words. For example, “foster a better understanding of the law” for the topic “solutions for crimes” instead of just learning “foster

@@alipoorseyed6643 i had given IELTS in 2018 also, then i got overall 7, even though it's been 6 years, i had less preparation to do in comparison to a fresh student. Even back then i studied for a month and gave my test.

Hello, may i please know if the reading passage pattern in ielts has changed for academic. I have seen that some candidates are given 4 passages in reading. Is it so? Has the pattern changed? Should we expect 4th passage?

@@GovkharSaatova-uk7xv bro in first attempt i got only 5.5. but then I came to know about IELTS advantage I just read sample follow strategies but in my centre i regularly got 5 or 5.5 then I knew that my mentor have no knowledge that how to give perfect band score. I booked exam without any fear and just follow the rules that keep it simple. Write what you think on topic and explain your main point. Don't make too much point just focus on explain in your own words with simple vocabulary. Don't try to fit high level vocabulary.

Hello Chris, I just had one doubt, suppose I get this “Interesting movie” question in Part 2 speaking test, would it be okay I talk about 2 movies and fully develop them. For example for the first minute, ill talk about avengers movie and develop that answer as long as I can and then when I run out of ideas, I talk about another interesting movie and then further develop it. Please reply as soon as you can.

Hi, Chris. I'm very appreciated your work. I just have a question about acronyms like IT, NATO, or NFC... are they acceptable to use in Writing as well as Speaking? Or I have to write them or spell them out like IT = Information technology etc. Also, I purchased your course on your website as well. It's just expired today lol but it's fine because I will have my test next week anyway, and I only focus on doing practice test until then. Thank you again

Hi there! This is a good question, but I would advise against doing this for two reasons. The first reason is that the examiner will think that you don't know the word, and the second is that people would often write the full words in letters and use abbreviations when making notes.

Hey Chris,there is one thing I can't know, in a lot of your speaking test videos,examnee have to wait for a few seconds to answer and their fluency is not good much but they still get band 9,while IELTS speaking in Vietnam,they use a lot of advanced words,and their fluency is much better,but they just get band 8,can you explain for me why,or the way to judge speaking skills differ from country to country?

Practice on your own. Then practice on your own by recording yourself on your phone. Then with someone your 100% trust. Then with a friend. Build up to the examiner. Also know that examiners are no better, and probably worse in most cases, than you.

My English is beginner level. However, You guided to learn easily. Thank you 😊

I have to say, when we had our English exam in High school and University in China, insted of using words to express yourself well with simple words, we have to show the examiner how did we studied and how prouncation is prefect. So that we can get higher score in test. 😂
