This is why Saban’s work at Alabama will likely never be replicated elsewhere. At least not to the same extent. Teams like Ohio state, Georgia, even LSU can snatch a title every now and then when the pieces come together, but those programs can’t backfill those pieces year after year like Saban has.

Missouri didn't even look that good. I mean sure the defense seemed to dial it up for the game but their offense was atrocious. They may have the worst QB I've ever seen at their level. Georgia didn't look like a number 1 ranked team and I can't see how they hold onto that number one spot.

That 1&Goal at the 1 where Missouri only got a field goal cost them the game. It would have been 20-3 at that point instead of 16-3. And they would have had 26 total. They couldn’t get in the end zone.

#24 for G.A won that game…… Halfway through the 2nd quarter. With his effort. That rundown tackle at the 1yard line that led to only 3pts. Him not giving up on the play. WON this Game. It carried over for the rest of the game. No one quit💯 That one play can mean a lot going forward. Even to another National Title. Because they all feel that don’t quit and We been here before. Even the Freshmen who thought it would be easy. The SEC is Never Easy💯

The defense is not what it was last year, the offense needs to work out some Kinks, there’s the pressure of the spot light, and the SEC teams are on the grind. Nothing is guaranteed!

Tht hands to the face call was a turning point. They capitalize on every mistake Georgia made but they’re one mistake probably cost them the game🤦🏾‍♂️I’m so mad they did sooo good the coach made tht face because he know Georgia finishes games so he was holding them off as much as he could. An the kicker did excellent 🖤💛them flyer boys put on for the lou I love it💙🧡

I think georgia will be blitzed unmercifully the rest of this season . Fantastic defensive play calling by mizzou. Props.

I mean it wasn’t just the blitz that gave them issues. 5 vs 5 and 4 D lineman vs 5 o lineman and Mizzou was still getting penetration and stunting the running game for the most part. Mizzou has a solid d Line and a good front 7, the secondary is the weaker part of the defense

Any call you have beef with from these highlights, back it up and watch the play. I was with you. I thought there were three phantom calls and I tracked down two for sure. The low block on the defense was obvious if you watch the play at full speed. The hands to the face was also pretty clear, as well. The one I couldn't track down was the flag pick up on Darnell Washington's reception down the right sideline where he almost hurdles the guy. Looked like it was going to be a block in the back, but they picked it up after talking it over. Again, I'm not trying to argue with you. I literally came here looking for those three calls and two of them are pretty clear.

What kinda retard has a shot at the ball carrier and goes after a lineman 150% of his own size?? Maybe you never played the game? 🫢 Not trying to demean or insult you, but this is just basics of the game. The defender actually got blocked (so to speak) by the lineman stepping in front of his tackle attempt and effectively blocked with his knees. 😏

As a Georgia fan, i love this win. We finally saw what Georgia can be when challenged. The first half Missouri played for their season. Georgia played like it was comfortable. This game re-enforces my believe that the UGA offense still needs to pound the ball to be successful. That is not how Georgia got here and becoming more finesse to please recruits and fans is a good way to get beat by a desperate bunch like the Tigers tonight. I think UGA's ceiling is higher than it was before tonight. As for the ranking i dont care and i dont know why anybody would either. I am sure there are plenty of spoiled UGA fans that are not happy and will point out Alabama's win, because thats what they always do. It means nothing to me. Its a 60 minute game and those are the best victories

I came here to see just how lucky the Dawgs were this year since all the ESPN experts have been saying that the Tide was lucky to win certain games. That KY game was no walk in the park for the Dawgs either. So we can agree that it's games like this when a coach can learn a lot about his team's moxie. Every year from this point forward Dawgs will hear the same chant Tide has had to endure for 15 years. "We want Dawgs" Question, will they be able to meet the challenge? GA on a sustained 6 year roll. New QB next year who hasn't played a lot of snaps. We saw what happened to Clemson with their lack in QB play. OSU and Tide might have the same problem.

It’s not easy jumping on a loose ball and actually securing it. You never know where it’s gonna bounce around to so it’s a big deal recovering it

If MIZZOU is just a little bit more disciplined on the offensive end of things, they could have very well scored 49 points plus and won this game. They are an extremely well coached team. GEORGIA’s defense saved them from embarrassment today! 😡🤦🏾‍♂️👎🏾🤷🏾‍♂️

I'd like to see something like in basketball, no penalty for first 2 minor infractions say. Yeah it's subjective but everything is.

Mizzou defense much improved, but the O-line needs work. Tough to tell if Brady Cooks inability to be consistent with his downfield passing is a product of being rushed, or lack of talent.
