Here's an idea, 1 fact for every Pokemon Rival, something you have surprisingly never done. For some facts, Blue's name is Green in the Japanese versions of the games and anime, and the reverse is true for the manga exclusive character Green. Another fact is Barry, who is probably a master honey tree hunter, because he uses both Snorlax and Heracross, who are not only honey tree pokemon, but the two rarest honey tree pokemon.

I’m convinced Hassel adopted Poppy after she followed Rika home from the hardware store one day and they saw she was good with Pokémon.

I think Glacia is the one who replaced Flannery's grandpa because it was stated she was asked to move into hoenn for the league, also makes sense why there's an ice specialist in a region with insanely few ice types, she could've had other ice types from her home region but was forced to use hoenn available ice types

fun fact all of the elite four ghost type specialist are female two young girls (acealola/phoebe) one young women ( shantel) and one old (agatha). Also another fact about acealola is that she's from a previously wealthy and known family and that she's the last member alive the library you meet her in was actually owned by her father

Hassel is probably my favourite elite 4 member in the series. He roots for you throughout your journey and gets so emotional when you beat the league, like a proud dad. He also has a interesting backstory with him running away from his clan when he was young.

I believe, the reason why Trace’s Pokémon only has 3 moves is because he’s supposed to be a representation of Pokémon GO. Because in Pokémon GO, your Pokémon can only have a maximum of 3 moves. Just like Trace’s team.

That makes sense. But also, it HURTS to see a Champion with only three moves. I know Let's Go is geared towards Pokemon GO audience who might not be familiar with mainline Pokemon games yet, but.... damn.

​@@novemberninth4392atleast those moves are good (way better than Blue's from FRLG who has Sand Attack and Whirlwind on Pidgeot, Scary Face on Rhydon and Egg Bomb on Exeggutor) and he gets 4 moves in the rematch so all good

The worst part about Chairman Rose's plot, almost all of the downsides could have been prevented if he waited ONE MORE DAY. He could have had Leon's support, the players' support (either as champion or someone nearly on par with Leon), and a few others in the tournament from the previous day to help keep things under control with Eternatus. Granted, no one knew you'd need Zacian/Zamazenta, but even having a group of Champion-level trainers on your side to help would... you know... help?

I figured Eternatus was going to break free at any moment now and Rose had asked and Leon turned the idea down before and Rose had already waited as much as he could

I think it was just a lie and he was basically forcing Leon to catch Eternatus, bcz he is a Champion and he will come to save the people by fighting Eternatus but Rose definitely is dumb, Maxie, Archie, Cyrus and Rose are the dumbest villains

Not that it makes it much better, but in the Pokemon Adventures manga, the reason Rose was so freaked out was that while initial projections said they run out of power in a thousand years, further research showed those projections were a massive overestimation and they had maybe a few decades instead.

Rose´s plan does makes sense though. And it´s highly tied to everything you hear and watch during your entire playthrough about the legend of Galar, the characters and specially about Leon. In fact, something that people loves to joke about is the whole Leon being an unbeatable champion thing but this is actually a huge plot point. This because Rose was developing his plan based on his (incomplete/inaccurate) knowledge of the legend of Galar (the one that talks about how "a hero" was the one who stopped the first darkest day). So in order to ensure the future of Galar (by making Eternatus scatter wishing stars once again through the entire region like it did 3000 years ago), he needed to recreate the events of the first darkest day. Because of this, he needed two things: to bring back the darkest day (a.k.a Eternatus) and "a hero" to defeat it (and in current times, this would be Leon, the strongest trainer of the Galar region). Which made Leon´s cooperation an absolutely vital part of his plan. As seen through the game, Rose isn´t really a bad person. He loves Galar, had a huge role in his development as a metropolis and has a great eye to find talented people that could help with that growth (Oleana, Leon, Bede, etc). But he also has some really strong ideals. And that´s why the scene where he expels Bede from the gym challenge for destroying the ancient mural is also really important. Because is meant to show that Rose cuts associations with anyone that goes againts the well being of Galar in some way or another. And just like what happened with Bede, he also got dissapointed with Leon´s actions. Bede not only was the challenger endorsed by Rose, he was his plan B in case Leon refused to take part in his plan. A challenger with great talent that could potentially beat Leon and become the champion. But he lost this plan B as a result of what happened with the mural since he considered Bede as unreliable due to his actions. Although he was unaware of Oleana´s petition to Bede and how unintentionally on Oleana´s part, encouraged Bede to go to extremes to help Rose. It´s also important to mention that the reunion with Leon in Rose Tower wasn´t Rose´s first attempt to convince Leon to participate in the plan (but the problem is that as the strongest trainer of galar, he was vital for his plan, so he HAD to take part in it). Quote from Rose: "Leon, we have discussed this a hundred times already. And you still fail to understand what´s at stake? You, who are supposed to be our champion". In fact, Oleana´s entire ambush to Leon on his way to the dinner with Hop and the player was their last attempt to get Leon´s cooperation by his own will. To the point where Oleana makes everything in her power to delay your (and Hop´s) arrival to the tower to gain as much time as she could for Rose to convince Leon, even if she herself had to battle againts the player to do it. At the end, this plan failed and Rose got dissapointed with Leon just like he did with Bede but he still needed him for his plan, specially after the experiments required to awake Eternatus (the explosions you hear through the game and that Leon took care of). Because of this, Eternatus was already fully overloaded for Leon to fight but Rose no longer trusted in Leon´s promises to help with the plan, which is why the plan couldn´t be delayed. So given the situation he needed to force Leon to cooperate (by awakening Eternatus in a way that Leon couldn´t ignore: during the final match of the gym challenge).

that actually doesn't make his plan any less stupid honestly first off Leon didn't go against rose's plan of saving galar he straight up told rose "ok I'll help with you galar plan all I need is just one day after the final's I'll help you" if rose really wanted leon's help without any distractions he'd have just waited the day. Secondly if Eternatu's powers were going so out of control that they'd destroy Galar why didn't rose tell leon this? if he did Leon would no doubt cancel the final's to deal with this threat when rose wanted him to instead he just kept saying "leon I need you" but he never told leon why he needed him other than "it's to help galar 1000 years from now"

aaren, i think to be a elite 4 member, you need to be a gym leader, have a higher role in region, or be a family member of the elite 4, with special training

Yeah... Lucy from Pokemon Emerald does make a cameo in ORAS as a Punk Girl. If you go to the Battle Masion on the second floor above the arena, you can talk to her and she mentions how you make her Serviper shiver or something. We can then talk to a man in a suit, talking to Scott himself, confirming it's Lucy since her mentions her by name and I think uses her title as Pike Queen. So funny enough, we only actually see Lucy in both timelines since the Anabel from Sun and Moon is hinted or confirmed to be the same from Emerald. But we know that Anabel is the only confirmed Faller from the Battle Frontier. She, Mohn and Looker can be considered the only confirmed Fallers outside the Main Characters since I believe Looker reveals he was a Faller as well. More so, we can theorize it happened during ORAS, ironically in the same location as where Anabel was supposed to be, as in both Ruby/ Saphire, and Emerald, you can challenge the Battle Tower. In the Gen 3 games, not tghe Battle Masion.

I don't think Caitlin is a vampire. Her coffin quote is from Pokemon Masters Fall 2021 as an event quote, she also mentions adding a little "goth" flair to her wardrobe every now and then, and that her dress makes her feel like the mysterious mistress of a shadowy manor. Her Fall 2021 costume in Masters is also very vampire-like and so are those of a few other characters like Morty, so I think she's just cosplaying with a bit of role-play for flair. It's not like Agatha where we see her literally try to suck Blockhead Clefairy's blood.

I have this personal headcanon that Siebold is the Pokemon equivalent of Gordon Ramsey.

I don't think Will and Lorelei are related, since his hair everywhere else but the limited-colors GBC palette is purple. But he's actually a willing member of the Mask of Ice's Team Rocket in the Adventures manga, alongside Karen. Malva had insane potential. It's heavily implied that she's censoring Flare's involvement when she broadcasts her news reports, and then there's her role as a double-agent in the E4. She keeps the entire Kalos region, up to its strongest Trainers, in the dark.

I think the Koga Golbat card's symbol was the peace symbol you can see in every asian temple... it just became something else for the westerner

I know Will and Karen were both kidnapped when they were young but I don’t remember reading anything about Will and Lorelei. I just know that after Pryce was defeated, both Will and Karen were left without anything to do, so they join Bruno and Koga and become the new elite 4

Steven having multiple IDs does make sense, since the emerald one is from a world where he isn’t champion, the hgss one is from a world where he is champion and the oras one is from the mega timeline, so they’re three different versions os Steven

Here's what I think Tobias' full team would have been, had he had to use them all Darkrai Latios Raikou (Any of the Legendary Beasts would fit his team) Empoleon (This would have been his first Pokemon) Alakazam (I think it fit's his personality) Scizor (he'd use this for catching Legendries) My view is that Tobias' main objective is to catch the rarest Pokémon around and then take on the League, his non-legendary Pokémon mainly serve as backup in case his main 3 go down in battle and all of them are at least Level 80.

All the top 4 of Worlds 2012 (including Wolfe) were added to B2W2 as DLC. I wish they had kept that going as a tradition, it's such a cool way to honor trainers that make it to Top 4 at Worlds: becoming part of the mainline games.

The game was based on the manga hell it even had blue steal a Blastoise and she was scared of flying types

You missed one. Actually you missed two! Because if you list Nemona that means you're counting all characters of formal Paldean champion rank other than the player character, right? Yeah, Sada and Turo were champion rank trainers too. Which makes me wonder if they ever sparred with the AI. The AI says that their battle prowess is peerless, so I assume that this was tested at some point.

Wallace named his Sealeo "Richard" after Richard the Lionheart. Matter of fact, all four of the Pokémon he nicknamed were named after British royalty. Elizabeth for Queen Elizabeth I Richard for Richard the Lionheart Charles for both Charles I and Charles II and Philip for Prince Philip, who was Prince Consort at the time that chapter of the Pokémon manga was being written.

The reason why Trace's Pokémon only have 3 moves might be because in Pokémon Go, you can a maximum of 3 moves. Since Let's Go shares a lot of similarities and can link with the mobile game, this could be the reason why.

If you invite Poppy to Blueberry Academy in the Indigo Disk she confirms in one of your conversations with her that she's 9 years old. At least in English lol
