I wore a 'The Godfather' t-shirt to a club in Naples, Italy, without thinking it through... Big mistake. A scary-looking security guard pulled me aside, pointed at my shirt, and gave me a stern look like 'this isn't funny'. He said something in Italian, staring me down, and I started to panic, thinking I'd really screwed up. But then, out of nowhere, he cracked a bright smile, gave me a thumbs up, and a nod. He grabbed me by the shoulder, and with a chuckle, pushed me past the long queue and into the club. I got pale af. xD

@@kevincasas6354 😅I didn't think of that! I just thought I was making a cool reference, I mean, I knew the Camorra was a thing in Naples, but I didn't think they'd care about a tourist's t-shirt. I guess it would've been different as a local. 😆Anyway, after the guard had his fun, scaring me half to death, I got a free pass and a free drink out of it. I was only there for about a week with school, some sightseeing, like Pompeii... Still, it was a wild experience!

My 13 year old son has a SOA cut and wears it around town and there's a few HA that reside close by and they have him a thumbs up when they see it. I was running a restaurant and cooked for one and his old lady regularly they saw him in his cut and they took a few minutes to talk to him checking it out. He's a teenage boy not a man just found it to be a respectable act of kindness my son was all smiles and understood who the couple was.

It is not even about a threat. It's like when some take tattoos of sets logos and they have nothing to do with them, they will make you sandpaper or cut it off. The heated dude saw it like that and the reasonable like it's just a kid liking a tv-show. It's not a dude who flaunts a tattoo of some club for whatever purposes. A huge difference. Kinda like say in russia if you get jailed and have been not so smart and taken the nautical stars on your knees. It will not go good for you, because they will see it as an extreme disrespect for the consequences they have gone thru for their life choice to end up in it to Actually have the stars. Like that's the mindset. Another is like how many onion domes of churches you got on your back tells how many times you have been in prison (then there is things that tells about the sentence etc.), you better be ready to answer all of the questions about the tattoos and places you have supposedly been. If into tattoo culture you know the most glaring ones not to take and tattooers should just say no just in case (or make very least sure it is real). Always when I go out of Europe I do check a bit do I need to hide my tattoos in general (usually you get leeway by being a tourist) and if there is something you should not have in some country. Like in Brazil having a clown means you have killed a cop.

I think it’s all just silly. But what’s worse, the dude who is wearing something because he thinks it “looks cool” or “tough”, or the dude that thinks him wearing it make HIM look “less cool” or “tough”? I have friends and family that I ride with and they all put on their Harley Davidson uniforms (I suspect even their underwear has a Harley logo). Feeling threatened over some kid with a TV shirt may be the weakest thing I've ever heard. I may jump the guy for even thinking like this. This guy was a punk and needed to be checked. What does that say about the club when this guy goes after the non-threatening populous? That type of thing is not good for anyone and could bring trouble for the club.

I think it's ballsy, if the guy considered things from multiple perspectives. (SoA boyo). I feel like the whole US biker culture ain't nothin to stick ya nose in your finger at. On one hand, youre just a dude that likes TV and dual tire wielding metal horses, combining your hobbies.
