I started with really great sounds too mainly because of prior instrument experience

Sadly I have been playing for 6 years and I still don’t know how to do that technique you showed where you clone yourself into 5 people.

I did that until an instructor pointed out it was easier to just kick out the first valve slide.

I've been playing trumpet for 8 years and I still sound like its my 1st week playing

Try not practicing for a week after 10 years and you will sound like it's your first day.

I've been a trumpet for about six years now, and this is the truest fact I've ever seen in my life.

I've been playing the trumpet for 5 years now and you've done it all again 🙂.

Great video. I'm 49 and I started playing the trumpet when COVID starts. I don't know if I'll even be any good, but I'm sure glad I started. Having so much fun, and is building my confidence more every day. I love your video clips!

I have been playing for 3 years and my school band played the William tell overture this year

I remember a few years before I marched trumpet in dci I was absolutely horrible at every aspect of the trumpet, so I can relate to this.😂😂😂

Just picked up a cornet and from a little help from my trumpet friends im already doing quite good

I have played for 14 years and I still play those fast gigs. I litteraly have 2 gigs tomorrow that combined should take me 20 minutes. But hey 130$ for 20 minutes of work is not half bad

To show how would be at the 10 years...i would have used the Richard Strauss's Alpine excerpts...

0:21 brought back awful memories of all the times members of my section would drop their trumpets in marching band, and some were actually damaged pretty badly.

i remember 1 week, i was in sixth grade and I always struggled to hit the C. I never believed my band director that tensing wouldn't do good, who knew that he was right lmao!

I picked up the trumpet just 1 year ago at age 38. It's actually my first musical instrument ever. My instructor says I'm doing well and beyond what he sees in a lot of 1 yr students. I might miss a day of practice here or there, but I really want to learn. I wish I could have started young. At what point do you go from saying "I'm learning the trumpet" to "I play the trumpet"?

it depends on lips, i play trumpet and when i tried instruments like tenor horn, tuba, instruments with bigger mouthpiece, its easier for me, but it mainly depends on your lips

To be more accurate, first second and first day is when you can only vibrate in the mouthpiece. But pretty good vid, man!

As a student who started playing the trumpet a few months ago, the high notes were hell until you find a loop hole by making your mouth smaller

Error bro, las notas agudas no pueden salir de apretar ni hacer tu boca mas pequeña, solo debes entonar las notas, y el verdadero trabajo para las notas agudas es gracias al aire y movimiento de la lengua (entonacion) para que pase mas rapido o lento (ojo no fuerte o piano). Si te acostumbras a hacer todo de labio vas tener problemas en el futuro, y bastante jodidos de solucionar

I started playing the baritone its my first ever instrument
