Idk, it's definitely close, for almost $35,000 it might be a little while before you are able to resell everything you're not personally collecting. That box was crazy tho and obviously if you have that type of money to buy a hobby box of baseball cards the ROI isn't the only reason for buying.

Did anyone else not notice the flake on the Right side of the trout booklet? For 30 grand hope that wasn't an actual defect on the card hard to tell because the breakers didn't even talk about it or check i know they saw it though if i did.

yup...hobby is ruined. This was something I used to do with my dad as a kid 25 years ago. Cant even buy a few packs of a decent product anymore without spending 100+

Cool, but aren’t these cards supposed to be in the box? Not sure I understand the excitement and surprise when you open an expensive box and there are expensive cards inside. It’s not exactly shocking

Cards are supposed to be in box, not necessarily the cards he got. Getting a 1/1 of Ohtani probably 10x more valuable then 1/1 of say Pete Alonso. If ur cut is of A Lincoln you probably close to making box $$$ back. Then again you can get a cut worth $500. Thats why u get excited!
