David, the thick broth is Called "Demi glace"......this is what resturant call it ......very strong flavor, has to be thinned out with regular stock. The BanMei looks great and for $ 1 , Wow!!!!!

There are so many different Banh Mi shops around Saigon that you should try every single of them. They can offer various taste that you never expected. I am big fan of Banh Mi. 😍

I just ate at that spot a few days ago... the lá lót is aiiiigh, the sauce is all you taste the la lot itself lack in flavor, the spare ribs get flavorless inside the banh mi...the best one is phá lau

On a bike any where from 10-25 minutes depending on what district and how fast your driver goes 😂

Subway, starbucks, mc donalds...al.those are rubbish corporations that extra super charge for normal and low quality products. Try also the excellent coffee varieties in Vietnam, served simu and always with a big and warm vietnamese smile ❤Vietnam

I don't like the thick bread they use for subway so never had it. I prefer Baguette over sub-type bread
