Three months ago I gave up all sweeteners (sugar/stevia, etc.) and all grains. I did not realize how much better my brain would feel! I did it after I got diagnosed with arthritis. To reduce inflammation (which underlies arthritis), I quit sweeteners/grains, and I am nearly pain-free! But my brain works better too - AMAZING! Thank you for your wonderful videos. I went to the doc yesterday and explained I don't need the anti-inflammation pills anymore and that I fixed the situation through diet alone and suggested she tell people they can help their own issues with diet. Her response? A blank face and she said "I'm not a dietician". The medical establishment is NOT YOUR FRIEND! Change your diet, change your life. Thanks, Dr. Ekberg!

@@choosecarefully408 To be fair he opened up with saying we are photosensitive to cold lasers and have EM meridians on our skin... I mean... that told me all I needed to know right there! The answer is out there somewhere... but it ain't with this guy. I mean honestly, brain fog is simple. If you are low on neurotransmitters, then the thinking don't work too good, and everything is more difficult. For those of us with ADHD our issue is that we are too efficient at processing and absorbing neurotransmitters (yay! we are good at something!), so we deplete easily. We live our lives as stimulus junkies with extreme mental acuity in extreme situations, and then the fog rolls in on the day-to-day. We can take stimulants, which help slow down how quickly we absorb our precocious neurotransmitters... but that comes with its own issues and can put us all over the map. Normal people just have it so easy. Want to get rid of brain fog? Eat high protein and fiber, cut out the carbs and sugars, have the occasional cup of coffee, and go for a jog or a brisk walk. Nothing to it! Meanwhile, so many of us stick to ridged routines and diets, and supplement with drugs for a chance at 'normal' that is often denied. But if we don't stick to our routines religiously, then we don't get a chance. Its frustrating sometimes.

Btw, I was talking with a few friends the other day about Sten and the fact that he used to be a decathlete and they did not remember his name at first (even though we are all Swedish and 50-60+). So we did some digging and it turns out Sten was incredibly good and talented and would have finished top 10 even in the latest world championships. That is just amazingly impressive.

Monotonous and debilitating! Started Lugol's solution yesterday. I have every symptom of Hashimoto. I'm sick and tired, at 64, of being I'll and having to research and heal my self at the same time. Unfortunately when I have them see their PCPs to refer a nutritionist, it's then disappointing when my clients' concerns are minimized or dismissed.
