My son loves to watch, but my daughter doesn’t care for them. I did manage 124MPH on 8S, but my GoPro was aimed too high 😕

Nice! The street was busier than usual, but by the time I went back later in the evening, it started raining, so I didn’t run 8S. Which motor/ESC are you running?

@dgitalchaos Nice runs! I'm thinking of doing those clipless mounts, what's the fastest you've gone on the truck with them? Any concerns with them holding up to high speed (130+)

The fastest I’ve gone is 127MPH. Have had zero issues with the clip-less mounts. I use a black paint pen to cover the scratches caused by roll overs when I’m just messing around with it.

How did you make the 5690 fit? I believe the stock mount can only fit a 4985 or 4990. And does a 90mm lenght motor fit?

I used the motor mount from the limitless with the 56 series motor plate. It’s a direct fit in the infraction without needing to drill. The 90mm motor fits with about 1mm gap between the motor and steering assembly.

@@dgitalchaos so basicly only the motor plate needs to be bigger, and use the stock motor slider ( aluminium part that also hold the center diff or spool)

@@thomweber4102 the stock diff / motor mount won’t work. The one from the limitless is larger and fits the larger motor plate. What are you amp numbers under full throttle.

On 6S, I peaked at 241 amps at full throttle, on 8S, I peaked at 402 amps.

@@dgitalchaos nice I just bought the same set up and I was wondering that it might still cut out, how long do you hold 100%

@@Nelsonmccallum27 it only held for .06 seconds before cutting out on an 8S run. Batteries dropped to 2.9V/cell, so better batteries would help. After the amp out, batteries went back to 3:93V/cell.

@@dgitalchaos that’s good info thanks for sharing. I literally have the same motor and esc. But I’m using CHNL 5200 4s ic5 packs 90c with 180burst, I held 100% for 1.04 seconds and peak was 340amp and 244 at the end with 3.375volts per cell. And it came back to 4.1 after.
