Hi Tony, that came out nicely. The paint shrunk the bezels up pretty well. I enjoyed the midweek video. It was a nice start to my day. I'm looking forward to Friday's video. Cheers!

No arguments from me Tony, it looks fine. Glad you covered the session; I would probably have been disappointed if on Friday you had presented us with a fait accompli. 👍👍

Nice bit of artistic licence taken there, really adds a good amount of detail with what you have lying about.

Thanks Martin...just wanted to elevate it a little, but did not want to start spending a lot of money on it...it is surprising what you can find in the many boxes of bits & bobs lying around. Have a great weekend mate.

Great episode, those little details make a good model into a great model. I spend ages putting extras on my 1/16 scale tanks. More like this Tony 👍👍👏

Tony, get those dials some „glass“ on. Could be done by a drop of clear gloss colour, or a drop of UV glue, hardened with some UV light. A nice to watch intermezzo! Two more days until Friday!

Nice job Tony, dial bezels a bit over scale but hey, so what it has deafinatley added value to the build, could I suggest that you put a drop of gloss clear coat on the dials and warning lights as when dry it gives the impression of glass,, looking forward to the weekend video. 👌

Thanks Alan...I will defo look into this. I have some acrylic gloss which I could use, but worried as these are only paper supplied by Armortek...I will do some testing, but this could work...Thanks again for your continued support.

Looks great Tony. Perhaps adding gloss varnish to the dials and lights would really finish it off nicely. Seals in both the dials and gives a glass finish to the lights! Applied with a toothpick, simple to do and self levels perfectly into the recessed dials and lights. Nevertheless fabulous mid week episode, roll on the next instalment. (Test the varnish on scrap parts to get it right)

Thank you. I was was worried as the decals are only paper. I may re-visit...Do you think acrylic gloss? Just didn't want to risk the print lifting on the decals.

@@tonys_workshop yes acrylic gloss would work, the Tamiya gloss would be my suggestion but in fairness they all irrespective of manufacturer are all very good. Dry fast and won’t lift the decals. And Tamiya clear coloured paint are awesome for light clusters. A drop on a toothpick and build up to the level you need, super easy to do and no mess. Same with the gloss use a toothpick and drop it on to the decals until fully coated, levels off to give a glass like appearance. (Years model making lol knew it would come in handy)

tamiya do an acrylic transparent red and orange paint you could put a few drops over the paint to give extra depth and it would look like a lamp on the dashboard
