Gd vid man just gettin in to gas 1/5 scales is fun stuff. Wait till u start moddin it puttin in other engines pipes an all that stuff it just keeps gettin better an faster👍

When I got me 5ive T, I let it idle on my stand, shut it off and let it cool completely, started it and let it run 15 minutes and shut it off and let it cool completely. Then the third start I drove it around till I was out of gas. 4th start I ran it like normal. Some people (myself included) like the heat cycle technic but isn't really necessary if you are good with throttle control. I'm impatient when it comes to break-in, hense why I use the technic. After the two heat cycles it is pretty much broken in but not completely. Just makes it easier on the engine if I blip the throttle.

This mixture of 25:1 is overkill for people that are new to these engines, 50:1 runs cooler and has a lot more power but you must tune it correctly, it's easy to do if you have a temp gun.

I just got one myself haven't drove it yet ...how much oil do I need to mix with a gallon gas can for 25 to 1 ratio

That’s awesome, glad to hear you picked one up! 1 gal is 128oz, 128/25= 5.12oz. So, just over 5oz, or if you prefer mL, that’s 151mL of oil to 1gal of gas.

Thanks! I’ll have to give them a look. Lost a center driveshaft pin today.

@AllTechTalk did it come with that K&N Air Filter? If not what size is that? The new DBXL 2.0 gas doesn't come with a K&N Filter or they have a prescreen over the filter so you can't tell. Love K&N!

Yes the first gas version came with k&n stock.. it says losi by k&n on filter
