Great detail work, very finely done. Colors are a bit unique.... but to each their own build as I say.
Impresionante!!muy buen trabajo.
That's the way to do it. Nice weathering. Not to heavy. Like it.
Increible trabajo, FELICIDADES
Simply the coolest Tiger's model I saw on the internet.
The black and white pictures are the BEST!, you know. Because you cant see the lack of DUNKLEGELB! THE BASE COAT FOR ANY TANK IN THE AFRICA CORE!
As always, you never fail to impress me. Amazing works.
Very nice to see a person who shares his real skills and talent on KZread. These scale models are fascinating.

A great job, and an even better video! Instructive, amusing, self deprecating and a very clever bit at the end with the "Before & After" trick!

Thank you for your kind words, Ian! I'm glad you like it :)
Superb video, lots of hints and tips, well done, it looks really realistic.
Best Tiger 1 I've seen to date. You didn't go spastic with rust. I never understand why All other modelers add 20+ years of sitting rust on their tanks. How long did they think the war went?! These machines kept them alive, so they didn't allow them to just rust through and fall apart. ..even towards the end of the war. Every war image and footage show that. Besides tanks that were blown out. Creative license yeah. But there's a lot out there claiming 'Historically Accurate' depictions. But your piece is perfect and reflects more realism than the one's others proudly show off. Awesome job. Great film and editing. Subscribed.

Amazing build!! Your videos are really helping me as I build 1:72-1:48 scale aircraft/helos mainly so tanks are a totally different approach to the hobby. Thanks again!! 😜

Excellent work. My only question is why rusty tracks? Tanks in war don’t sit still for long, and when metal parts are moving they don’t collect much rust at all. If anything they would be bright metal. The weathering on the tank is excellent though!
good job Tiger 1 winter camouflage. I'm just building great inspiration!!!!👍

Very nice built, RFM is best Tiger model!... but those colours.....😦 are totally wrong...much to bride. And shiny. For the future, it should be RAL8000 and RAL 7008, much darker flat tan. People not believe those colours and dont like studying field instructions... but its true. Africa tanks are painted wrong by majority of modellers throughout all DAK campaign 1941-1943 period😧
Superb job! You have a like and a new subscriber!
Great work! DAK Tigers are so much fun to build and weather!

There were no Tigers in the Afrikakorps. All of the African Tigers belonged to the 5th Panzer Army.
@robertwallace4928
6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the clarification David. So it looks like the 501st Heavy Tank Battalion was "promised" to the Afrika Korp but was eventually put under the 5th Panzer Army commanded by General von Arnim. Very interesting.
@daveybyrden3936
6 жыл бұрын
Yes, because of Operation Torch, the Germans were desperately assembling new forces in northern Tunisia, which eventually were organised as the 5th Panzer Army under Von Arnim. So the Tigers found themselves alongside the 10th Panzer Division from the beginning. Rommel never had active command of Tigers in Africa. Even during Operation Ochsenkopf, when he had been promoted over Von Arnim, it was Von Arnim who launched the attack without Rommel's agreement.
