1/35 JAGDPANZER HETZER Tank Destroyer That Packs A Punch! Takom 2172 1/35, part 3
Takom has released 3 models with a full interior and we can build an early (2170), mid (2171) or late version (2172). In this video I am showing my work on late version. With addition of extra parts (Aber sets, winterketten from Quick Tracks, towing cables from Eureka XXL and details for antenna and machine gun from Master Model) we can create stunning miniature of Jagdpanzer Hetzer tank destroyer. The addition of figures also make it eyecatching miniature.
So check this tutorial of Takom Hetzer in 1/35 scale and create a tank destroyer that packs a punch!
Today you can check full weathering with different products. One of them are enamel liquid pigments.

I’ve often wondered why others DON’T scratch there wheels 😳🥴😢 but then most cover them with mud or dust but I’m in the process of doing RyeField 5050 Tiger with interior and it’s definitely going to be getting your scratched wheels look… I think it looks fantastic and very to scale/realistic 🤓🤓🤓 I have a photograph of a Tigers hull upended at the factory and it’s scratched to bits some really deep to you don’t think of them bottoming out and getting scratched or you just miss it completely as who’s going to see it but I have a vignette in mind were one of my Tigers is coming over the brow of a hill or wall on a hill top etc and as it rears up you get to see underneath and you’ll get to see it 🤩🤩🤩 anyway another truly useful video packed with some useful ideas. Thanks for sharing it with us 🙏😅👍👍👍👍👍👍

What's your opinion on the liquid pigments

Im still testing them :)
Another masterpiece! I second your approach to scratches and rust on afv's. Just can't stand when people make their models looking like rotten for 30 years in a junkyard. Actually no top modellers do that, but you can see it often at different forums (mostly fb). This new AK liquid pigment product looks interesting, but it seems the liquid is very opaque if taken out of the bottle undilluted. Anyway I feel like wanna give it a try, since the application looks easy. How would you compare it to VMS pigment jockey?

Many thx for your comment! This ELP needs no thinner, the same PJ. Both are very similar but the final effect is a bit different. You need to try by yourself to find if you like it or not. I will use them both as I feel that they have potential to use. :)
Amazing work as always. Question, how did you get to be a pro like you are? I’ve been modeling 20 years or so and I’m no where near as good as you.. advise mate?

Thx mate for your comment! Well, i started with copying of modelling masters and after some time I managed to create my own style. As I remember I always knew what I want to achieve on my models. experience, consistency, setting the bar as high as possible - these are my key to success. :)
Danke!
