BINI's outfit in Pantropiko is like some sort of a compromise. Since the song has a tropical theme and was set on a beach, the girls needs to be dressed in swimwears without being showy (that is, flaunting sexuality). They were groomed to be role models especially for the youth and so maintaining their wholesome image is very important. As you can see in the video, the girls indeed are wearing shorts underneath their skirts instead of skimpy underwears. Even their tops were designed so as not to show cleavage. Well, if you look at it, I can say that it's not actually awkward. It's still a fashion statement. Clothes after all will only look great if the one wearing it knows how to carry it well. 😊

Pantropiko means "tropical" "Parang islang pantropiko" translates to "Like a tropical island" "Sa islang pantropiko" translates to "To a tropical island." The climate in the Philippines has two seasons: a. Hot/dry (March to May) b. Wet (June to December) January and February is usually cold or mild.

Tagalog language can always have its double to triple meanings. Like karera it could mean career or race. Thats why the composers play the words meanings in Philippines songs. There is a subtitles with the CC sign. Most pinoy MV nowadays has it. At some time instant or a day to a week after the release.

"Salamin Salamin" has subtitles on it.. i hope you tured it on.. Btw, it means "Mirror, Mirror".. ☺️ Thanks for this RV 🙏

Pantropiko is the Tagalog term for Tropical which you've guessed it earlier. the song was about when you're with someone you like or adore it makes you feel different things and as well as they both go on this tropical island and it just makes it more romantic and refreshing. Salamin, salamin on the other hand, means Mirror but it was like the same thing as Halo-Halo which means Mix-Mix in the English language. this was I think for the guy they been wanting to but the guy gives some mixed feelings so the girls think it that way as what it may suggest on the lyrics and they way they act. both of these songs talks about some kind of romance and situationship. but I will not say that this messg. was an accurate explanation for the concept behind this song, but for sure they're a bop.

The chorus of Pantropiko is mostly Spanish-derived words! "Parang islang pantropiko" Para = like, similar to Isla = island Tropico = tropical Like a tropical island

Philippines has 2 seasons, Dry season from December to May and Rainy season from June to November.

In this context, you're right, it means "mirror". The other meaning is glasses, the one that you wear on your eyes. Sunglasses or eyeglasses, both of them are salamin in Filipino/Tagalog.

Pantropiko means tropical island and the song meant for her love ones or crushes who's with them roaming around the island and what they will do in the island itself.

actually little girls/childen love their outfits thats why children loves the Pantropiko and their dances.
