Bini's impact on ph music industry is actually a no joke. They literally broke the record of both Ben&Ben and Blackpink in ph. Think about it, bubblegum gum pop isn't a trend or huge in current music ph industry. If you listen to the most streamed artists in spotify ph, you'll see Taylor Swift, Hev Abi, Ben&Ben and etc. You'll hardly see an artist that does bubblegum pop so for Bini to able to penetrate and catch up to other huge artists is already a huge achievement and a history. They have over 5m monthly listeners now on spotify which is a huge gap from the last record done by other ppop group. They are also currenly the top most str3am pop group in southeast asian. All of these things happening right now is crazy and hard to comprehend, it's just a lot to take.

I think this is what happened: BINI first went viral when Pantropiko started catching on in Tiktok. Then Unis covered it which sent the song into the airwaves. Most internet savvy Pinoys likely knew who BINI was atp. Then ABS did a Pantropiko day which caught on with the masses, mainly because while the concept is bubblegum pop, the song itself can be categorized as a novelty song. Think back to OPM history, most PH dance songs like Spaghetti, Otso Otso, Pamela One, Bumper to Bumper, are all novelty songs. And that genre dates back to the 60s and 70s with Yoyoy Villame.

But it is still so unfair because some bitter fandom is still discrediting BINI, saying their popularity is not organic or spreading fake news like they are only charting on Spotify. Those bitter fans are too blinded and can't even see the reality that BINI dominated the OPM; they are charting on all music platforms, the first PPOP group to do so. Whatever the next move of BINI, their legacy is already written; they have already marked their names in OPM history.

Before UNIS covered it, BINI's was already charting on all music platforms, and not just Pantropiko 4-8 songs of BINI are already in the PH chart; it was actually the other way around because UNIS covered it because Pantropiko is the most popular song in PH.

There were so many people being proud saying a Kpop group is covering a Ppop song. It was after their cover that Pantropiko PV went from like 3m to 7m in a couple of days, I was counting.

@@OxygenC2 im sorry but i have to disagree. Yeah the UNIS cover and Pantropiko day both contributed to the sudden rise of the group but Bini is already getting a huge number of crowd and is already charting multiple songs even before those things happened.

Aside from their music, fans also loved their personality which contradict the "idol image" idol groups have. I hope you can check out their core moments and see for yourselves how chaotic and funny these girls are.

Aside from their music, to be honest, people drawn to them because of their genuine personality, they are so chaotic and relatable even if they are idols they act as if they are just ordinary people just like us and I am one of those people that really love their personalities.

When BINI was asked what was their goal or dream last 1 to 2 years ago ( BINI is just turning 3 this year) , they said they want BINI to become a household name in tne PH. Because in the PPOP world, if your own people support your group with the same intensity as they support kpop., then you are in good hands👍👍❤Filipino fans are incredible.

BINI actually managed to capture the interest of the general, everyday masses, and was able to penetrate outside the niché p-pop audience. And it was so satisfying to watch. One of the most obvious sign of how they managed to capture the zeitgeist is the popular meme facebook pages getting into the BINI meme-contents train, which is HUGE especially in terms of reach to casual audiences. My friends, who are not fan of P-Pop, even K-Pop, suddenly got interested in BINI. Man, BINI is big in the Philippines at this moment.

Ask every new bloom how they got into BINI, the first answer they’ll tell you is “because of their personality, bini core” it is already given that they are talented, what attracts filo audience to them is their relatable personalities and their filipino humor that’s why we love them so much, They are full of Pure artistry and authenticity.

This year is the biggest year for BINI so far. Arguably, they are the biggest Ppop group right now if we base it on social media engagements . It is evident to their soldout 3 days concerts, Spotify monthly listeners, top charting songs to different streaming platforms and breaking different records for a ppop group especially in Spotify, and attendees to their tours and shows. It's just that BINI has the most engagements group right now or these past few months (As I observed) . You can see them literally in every social medias and streaming platforms charting. Of course Sb19 is Sb19, no one will doubt and argue about that. It's just that BINI is the trend right now, probably because of their latest EP while SB19 is kinda staying lowkey as of the moment, although still charting at top 10 on itunes worldwide and having a sold out concerts.

BINI knows tneir fans and what they want and I think this is a factor why they are famous right now. Knowing your fanbase and knowing your sound is key. The popularity of Pantropiko is not only because of its summer fun beat but because of the dance challenge that went viral on tiktok ( which BINI Sheena choreographed btw). Also, worth mentioning is that BINI personalities are also lovable IRL and yes they have crazy humor.

their popularity just landed on a perfect time! they were able to release a whole great discography and pantropiko paved the way for people to discover it! they are not just one hit wonders but their discography's speaks how they can do ballads, bubble gum pop and edms! plus their talents have bloomed to their greatest potential, so for me, it does not always have to be beinh on top on debut but more of being discovered by the general public at the perfect time! new fans get to enjoy so many contents!

That first clip, in Market Market, 8000 people came. In another mall show down south (Zamboanga), 6000. In another show in Dagupan (city outside Manila), 10,000 people waited hours to see them. Wild!!

Let's be real here , aside from BINI's hit songs and talent esp amazing vocals BINI gained an INSANE volume of fans in a very short period of time due to their _HUMOR_ and _PERSONALITY_ 😂

I get what efra means "Attractive", The charisma they extrude is really something like how they dance, sing, or even the expression... The Aura they give are really feminine but their Humor is So freaking Opposite of all of this😂😂

The bubble gum pop genre is very suitable to them.

I agree with them being attractive because you can see that this is their passion and how hard they're working it's attractive in a sense that it's respectable and something to admire. I just got into BINI and watched some of their behind the scenes stuff and solo work like Jhoanna's cameo for ALAMAT's MV and she was so into practicing the dance, even to the point she brought home props to practice with and gave her all in her acting as well. These girls are all so talented and they just know what they want and it's what makes them attractive.

If all Filo K-pop fans support P-pop then it will surely dominate because Philippines is one of the top K-pop music consumers in the whole world. Big arenas spilled for K-pop groups which in a way makes me sad as P-pop has not reached that kind of support and dedication.
