1/3 scale V10 RC car hybrid running, sort of. Part 8
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Done a bit of running in the garden, on one electric motor, and finally got the V10 running a bit. ENGINE STARTS AROUND 5.20. A bit smokey. A bit slow at the moment, no brakes, no steering, but at least I can see what it looks like on the ground. The floorpan was a bit loose so it was rattling. Yes I know I need to improve my videoing. It's on the list to do. Yes the headers are smoking, just burning off last year's oil. I know it's nowhere near ready yet, I just wanted to see what it looked like on the ground. Please don't be too harsh, I have a house and family and a job too. I'm going as fast as I can, cheers.
ENGINE STARTS AT 5.20.

Literally one of the coolest pieces of engineering i have ever seen. Can't wait to hear that v10 fully tuned and at full chat.
How can anyone dislike this? Sir you are an inspiration, simple as that. What you’ve done here is beyond words!

Sir, you have nothing to apologize for. This looks like it's going to be a masterpiece. Congratulations!
There should no harshness at all! This is marvelous progress I speak for myself, and I hope many others that have been around since the beginning. We understand this is a hobby and the time and effort that goes into building this car. Itll be great when finished I'm not going anywhere!

Be H I’ve been around since episode 2! And am always so hyped when I see uploads of this thing go up!
This part of my life... This little part... Is called happyness.
You're doing an amazing job! You built this thing yourself - if anyone thinks you're going too slowly they can try to do it better and faster.
Freaking amazing man can't wait to see that v10 push it
That is simply amazing. There's definitely some simpletons who didn't read the description, and clearly know better than the guy who's been working on the project and clearly have watched all of the installments
wait, this is actually a Hybrid?? what a job man, keep it up!!
Keith is the most unenthusiastically impressive engineer known to man. Really cool stuff, id love to see the car in person.
Bet this dude never thought he'd get this much attention from an RC car. But this thing is incredible. And all hand made, that's alot of engineering and craftsmanship.
It is amazing what detail you have put into this project. Ignore the haters. They are just jealous that they cannot build anything in comparison.
You crack on at your own pace mukka family, firm, fun, in that order we all enjoy your videos we can wait 👍
This is insanely amazing. I’ve seen it before but it still blows my mind. You sir are incredibly talented and I’m pretty sure you are a genius.
I just wanna day the this thing is absolutely awesome, every time you upload I immediately click and watch, it’s pure joy to watch this getting made, the fact that you made this all from scratch is amazing 👍👍👍
It gives me the chills every time I see a new video of yours, what a piece of art, really enjoy seeing how it comes together and how far you go into making your own parts, greetings and big ups from the Netherlands 👍👍
Keith. Your hard work and dedication are clearly under appreciated. I have not watched the whole build series but assuming you've built all this yourself the fact that its rolling on the ground under it's own power ( electric or otherwise ) its f****ng phenomenal. Great work and thank you so much for taking the time to share your passion and journey with thos project with us from the moment I seen the first video I was hooked this thing is amazing. I hope you get much enjoyment out of the finished product please keep sharing your progress one day you'll be a legend.
I know it has been well over a year, possibly near 2 since I first saw your v10. And then....THEN, you put it on a chassis. With every video after, I was anxious to see it rolling. It’s been a long time coming and you’ve done a beautiful job with it.
My grandfather made a engine from scratch. And put it in a old bsa bantam. I was always so proud of his achievements. He was the smartest man I ever knew. But you sir might be smarter. This is incredible. Well done.
This is a work of bloody art :)
Keith you made me cry the first time I saw the video uploaded after so many years watching you build this and finally hearing that mini v10

Cheers, stick with it a bit longer.
I’ve been following this entire series and I cannot wait to see this thing run ! Good stuff man, keep it up!!
all these other people watching the RC and im here looking at how pretty that garden is. Imagine this RC project has given you problem after problem and you're just over it. that garden would be a great place to chill out and think things over.
always a pleasure to see an episode of this build.Lot of people don't realize how hard it is to build an engine from scratch. Bravo for your work. Running "heavy" RC car is also very hard as "scale" v6 or v8 or v10 engine don't have power/weight ratio as good as small 2 strockes...

No he use the MOTOR to run
The sound with the new exhaust.... It makes me all warm and feeling funny inside :D Awesome Keith. Thank you so much for sharing!
Damn man this is even more nicer than some real car projects hats off!
Oh my goodness! So awesome to see it moving under it's own power! The engine sounds quite wonderful with full exhaust as well. There's always a few bugs to work out. I just really cannot say enough good about the phenomenal work you've put into this. Just fantastic!
Been following this for a long time. I love your work! No rush mate. Take your time. Family and work before hobbies unfortunately. This thing will be nuts when you finally get all the systems working together. Cheers from America!
Amazing attention to detail, it’s beautiful. Once you get this thing running right, will be the nicest rc I’ve ever seen... might already be
Ohhhh man what a build. Who could be harsh with any comments on this !!! Allot of work in this and its a hobby so building it is a big part of the fun. Keep them videos coming. I am following you on this the result will be something to look forward to. Keep up the excellent work.
Slowly and steady wins the race cracking build . You have built an amazing machine so far
Congrats man! I've been following for years now know this thing has to have close to 1000 hrs in it if not more. Glad to see it moving. Cant wait for more updates.

I absolutely love this project. The engineering is incredible, I wish I had the knowledge to do something even vaguely similar.
great to hear it run again! take your time dude, its gonna be awesome
Brilliant to see more progress. What an achievement! I think the motors as they are (When both working) would be good , definitely make a lot of difference. Just my feeling when I see it.
Everyone is breaking this guys chops he's clearly not any where near completion yet I'm sure it will awesome when he does done... hell it's still cool as hell now, rome wasn't built in a day
This is by far the coolest rc car I have ever seen!! I've always wanted to dabble in the miniature engines with the rc to make some really cool 1/3 scale projects but never knew how:/ keep up the work!!
The sound, it's exactly like big V10
AMAZING WORK! Can hardly wait to see the next progression. I shake my head in amazement at the talents of others around the earth, and the good fortune to get to witness it! Enjoy your family and hobby, Good Luck!
I watched before I read you description, I cringed with every rattle! So great to see it on the move though. I know how excited you must be to get it running, but my father always told me that there are only two requirements for a car: stopping and steering. Going is optional!
540 thunmbs down, 540 people that know nothing about engineering. 540 people that was hoping to see a traxxas doing bloody wheelies. :)
That's only a few mods away from being the world's coolest skateboard
Can I just say that the welds on that fuel tank are really, really neat. Whoever was doing those welds knew their stuff!

Awesome! This build is insane, keep up the good work!
Awesome. Simply awesome. What craftsmanship and creativity!! Congratulations.
Man ... Congratulations !!! Keep going forward always no matter how much time it shall take because this is the most sick project I've ever seen AND followed !!! Cheers !!
That's astounding! Super build! That piece would have taken a LONG time Hats off can't wait to see it in action !
Didnt realise how big the car was until it was picked up like that in the yard. Its freakn huge. Great to see it running.
You have done a wonderful job with this build, amazing work really.
Oh yeah finaly the engine starts, sad that the tyre broke :( Hopefully next time full Engie driving :)
This is the most impressive R/C car build I’ve ever seen, can’t wait to see each step you show us. I personally would love to see build videos.
Love the video. Be waiting patiently to hear that v10 run.
Something about the sound of a V10. It a very special thing you've built!
One very impressive build, looks like an excellent job for sure ,and be great when you can get round to finishing it off. 10/10
In the 20 odd years I’ve known you Keith you’ve never failed to amaze me with you’re ultimate projects and vast knowledge about nearly everything. You’re an unbelievable engineer. Another work of art. Well done mate.

Heyup, how's it going. The cheque's in the post.
All things considered it has been insane watching this build come together. I can't wait to see it finally come together.
Never seen 1/3 scale before! Another great car scaling project!
Getting there !! Nice garden BTW.
Been following this project as it comes along. What a hoot! Looking great, sounding great. Love the idea and the engineering is sexy. Good work!
This is a fine piece of engineering! I think you've gotten further than I ever could with something of this scale (pardon the pun). Keep up the great work.
Take your time man your project is incredibly complex! A real thing of beauty too:) Best of luck getting her tuned! It sounds like you will be making your own fuel map:)
This is amazing!!!! The work that has been put into this is impressive. Can’t wait to see it running under engine power at a track
Awesome workmanship mate! That’s a work of art! Look forward to seeing it driving with the V10 engine! going be insane when it’s all finished 🤘🤘
You're doing amazing, blow my mind with what you have going. Thank you.
This is some bad ass shit dude. I always love it when you upload. Don't let the haters get to you.
For the newer viewers, watch ALL his previous episodes, then at least 90% of your questions will be answered. The other 10% is still being computed in Keith's brainframe.

I had that on my RC car! Until I rolled over and literaly slided like 80 feet upside down... my antena and receaver where both kind of shaved off😂🤭
I cant wait for it to be all dialed in and finished!? It's going to be amazing! Already such a beautiful and well built machine, but once it all comes together it's going to be out of this world
Man nobody better be hard what you are making Kieth is nothing short of amazing
A major milestone Keith, very well done. That V 10 has a beautiful and extremely quick throttle response as well as really smooth operation. That certainly proves your machining and tuning capabilities for the EFI. A shame about the broken part, but even the Wright brothers crashed a few before getting what they wanted. :-)
That motor is soooo smooth!!!!
I think you've done an amazing job. It looks just beautiful. It's a work of art! Keep up the great work and progress!
No worries. Looks Amazing and the work you put into it is Top Notch! It is far beyond my capabilities.
Awesome work man enjoyed your video. Look forward to seeing this thing full rip.
Bloody lovely, what a project, very jealous. Great work!
its amazing to see all the work you have finally start to come together.
Can't wait to see this drive around with the combustion engine and electric motors. Such an amazing build, love your videos!
I challenge anyone who criticizes you to build something better. Awesome work so far.
I love that you just keep at it and post vids once and while. It’s like a nice lil update about that uncle you never see cuz he’s in a different time zone. Lots of hate in the comments about it being being a waste, I hope that doesn’t get ya down, focus on the positives and keep at it.
this is such an awesome build, glad to see it getting closer to completion!
You are doing the best rc car on earth. I can't wait to see this beast finished.
An absolute marvel in the making. Amazing.
That's sounded so very nice, been looking forward to that sound👍👍👍👍👍👍
Very nice work, don't think I'd have the patients time or money for this kind of project, top craftsmanship
Badass dude!! I can't wait to see it with the body on it motor running! Exceptional work my friend!
A masterpiece of technic. Congratiolation.
I just realized you're only running one motor when you have both Motors running along with the 125cc V10 it's gonna be just fine!

Don"t let this fool you.. The V10 will never actually run anything.. This shits a sham. This is a over weight RC car that will probably only ever go as fast as you seen in this video. Im sure my comment will get deleted.. Since they know I'm right..

Alot of work gone into this, it's looking great. Of course u will have little problems on the way. The finished product is going to be awesome. You gotta understand, people being 'harsh are the sort of people that are having problems building little 1/10 rc cars. Anyone that knows what they are tski g about will appreciate the time, hard work, money that has gone into this awesome project.

Easily more excited to see the sub light up from you Keith than I was when the first Game of Thrones came out. Then to see it running... In any capacity? Absolutely magnificent.
Wow that’s a beautiful vehicle, I LOVE IT 👍
I can't wait tosee this thing ripping under the power of the V10. that's gonna be so badass!!
Good to see the car finally moving under it's own power. Must be an insane amount of troubleshooting ahead. Can't wait to see the next phase
Keith, you are an ARTISTE! I can't wait to see her finished, but I will be patient. :D
I'm really happy this video came out, you're awesome keep it up :)
That engine sounds lovely
This is amazing! Keep up the good work and take your time!
IT 'S Alive! followed the build since very early on , congrats on its first heartbeats
