Also an exclusive java player and toycat minecraft watcher here. The main reason it is that way for me is literally Toycat. Something about the particular style and personality makes it easy for me to keep watching and it is somewhat soothing. Also I feel like I get informed enough about how it is on java by reading update notes and more importantly hearing toycat complain about parity issues;)

Seriously though, those wolves(or just all wolves, depending on how wolf abilities are coded) NEED to be able to walk on top of the powdered snow of their home biome. They’re outright nonsense at the moment.🤣

Can someone time stamp when he finds each wolf variation

From finding 2 of the new types of wolf I think I know its a job of patience to allow them to spawn near you I didn't move around as far or as fast and I found each sooner in each of the biomes, wooded badlands and near my mansion in the forest so far..

Got all 9 in my world. It was weird; some spawned right away (Rusty and striped), others took ages (for me, the black and spotted were the worst). Overall, I think it took a couple hours

It’d be better to always leave the other dogs while searching for a new variant and making sure to keep the number of peaceful mobs and wolves loaded very low, or it will interfere with spawns
