I have a small back yard, it seemed like overkill to buy a lawnmower with an engine. This is easy to carry in and out of the basement through the bulkhead. Very sharp (be careful). At the back of the mower are little wheels, which I use when pulling the mower backwards, so it's easy to readjust direction. I'm including a photo which shows the before and after for my lawn when it was at its longest. For long grass like that you really have to put some muscle into it, and I needed to go into a new section of grass with some momentum, but when the grass is only an inch or two higher than regular cut height it's quite easy. The lawn is still patchy and full of weeds, but at least it's a good height! A step in the right direction.

I get compliments on my lawn all the time. I even thought about making a video. Until I saw your lawn. Now I realize it's my neighbor's lawn that just look crappy!! LOL

This is great. I wish I was as enthusiastic about anything as this man is about his lawn.

My grandfather was an agricultural engineer. He designed and patented his own seed... With that being said. I would be disowned for cutting grass less than 3 inches. I am in Wisconsin. Rye grass. However, it looks like a golf course but I find a nice lush lawn more appealing and useful for a family.

This is amazing how genuine this guy is and how dedicated to his craft he is. Inspirational

Connor Ward I bought a soil test kit, started doing it, then realized.. the recommendations for fert are way below what I'm planning to or could buy in my area.. so I ditched the soil test and bought 20-27-5

I respect this man’s care for his lawn mowing. I just have my electric cordless mower and I just cut the grass. It looks really nice because it’s even throughout but I don’t take the time to put cars into every detail. Awesome work!

Much respect for utilizing the minivan to pick up landscaping supplies....ain't no shame in that dad game.

Dahlias are gorgeous. When I first started a potted garden in the garden in the concrete jungle of NYC, I just did everything from seeds and whatever looked nice on the packer at Home Depot I bought. So it was a month before summer and I planted my seeds in the pots and what not and my dahlias were in the pots and I thought “oh well maybe I just had a bad pack of duds”. Nope, the beginning of fall weather all the dahlias starting blooming and my neighbors, family and I were all stunned at how gorgeous they were because no one had them. So yeah long story short I know how beautiful of a flower the dahlias are and I agree with that statement you made. 👌👍 🌺

Perfect example how, paying attention to the smallest detail makes the biggest difference. Great video 👍🏻

Those cylinder mower's in the UK are about £2900 odd with all the cartridges. Way out of people price range. And yet, they are so cheap in the states? Don't make sense.

This video showed up randomly in my suggested. I was at raspberry days last year and rode a 4 seat bike past your house, and thought “Wow! What a lawn!” Fast forward almost a year, I see this video and instantly recognize that was your house! Props on having such a great lawn that it was so vivid in my memory for all this time!

Yeah we mow our bentgrass greens at .125" and the poa still gets seed heads

poa is good grass...it just stinks for golf courses that dont have poa greens...

Omg, this guy is the doppleganger on the east coast. My neighbor has a twin. He literally uses a machinist's scale to measure his lawn. I believed he was the only one around. Beautiful lawn, love the Bluegrass.

So awesome seeing that perfect lawn with mountains in the backround. All we see around here is corn fields

Does it need more water when cut that short? Pretty sure my grass would die if cut so short.

Yeah it does require more upkeep and maintenance. Because your removing so much leaf, you remove the plants ability to create it's own energy, therefore having to supplement it with fertilizers.

Why are you collecting the clippings? We now our aprons at 7/16” and let the clippings go right back into the turf

I just do not like them on the lawn. You likely mow your aprons daily so it works. I do not quite get to my lawn daily. The clippings tent to get tracked into the house and my wife and I are not big fans of that.

Leaving your clippings does allow all the organics to break down and release nitrogen into the soil, but it also leads to a major thatch problem.
