1/150 Micro RC "Dual Mode Vehicle" DMV-931
I modified TOMYTEC 1/150 scale Dual Mode Vehicle (DMV-931).
DMV is a vehicle that can run on both roads and rails.
Normally it runs on roads as a bus, but by protruding railroad wheels it can run on rails.
The microcontrollers for both the transmitter and the receiver are ATtiny3217, and the motor drivers are DRV8835 (two units) and DRV8212.
The driving motor is a diameter 4mm DC motor. The steering and mode change motor are 3.9mm stepper motors.
The motors were purchased from online shops, and the gears were taken from broken digital cameras that were disassembled.
Communication is carried out via serial communication between two Bluetooth modules (RN-4871U).
The battery is a Li-Po (55mAh).
The thin copper wire is magnet wire with a diameter of approximately 0.08mm.
[Dimensions (Bus mode)]
Length 53.5mm
Width 13.8mm
Height 18.0mm
Wheelbase 26.5mm
Outer tire diameter 5.0mm
バッテリーはLi-Po(55mAh)です。

He gets great solder wetting on those tiny gauge wires.
i always forget for you it isn't enough to just make it remote controlled, it also need more lights then the average BMW driver, outstanding work mate
The skill to just solder the tiny copper wires and the microcontrollers and stuff are amazing! Keep up the good work man!
What an amazing approach to challenging yourself. You decided instead of making it smaller, which I've seen you've built smaller vehicles; you chose to make it more complex. Simply amazing! Thank you for sharing this with us!
Sounds like a train on the tracks, lol. Cool concept and build! Always impressed with how you cram all that in there. The DIY boards always surprise me. Great job!
Absolutely beyond impressive, you have mastered micro RC! Here I am thinking my 87s were tiny and too hard. Inspiring!
As someone who works with "N" scale models as a hobby. The stuff this guy does is extremely difficult. And then put the applied engineering on top of the already difficult task since this requires both programming and a degree of familiarity with the circuits used that few hobbyists got. I would sometimes wish that a manufacturer picked up on some of the ideas this guy has! Tomytec, Kato, Faller are you listening out there???

Agreed -ho scale modeler)
I am once-again absolutely flattened by my astonishment at how you make such a feat of engineering look so easy every time! And even then- you take it one step further and completely lay-out the items used in a clear and concise manner. Cheers again for such a wonderful showing of talent and good old-fashioned hard-work!
Wow that's pretty amazing considering the size and all. I think the owner needs to sell these as kits.
I have no words, just admiration

I was stunned by the fact that he got the dual mode to work, the working lights, turn signals, backup and brake lights are making my manhood shrivel.
Absolutely mindblowing! 😯
A treasure trove of intelligence and skill.
This might be the most impressive model I have ever seen!
I loved the scale shot at the end. I'd forgotten just how small it is until then.☺
Great job👍
beautiful work
Hey look, he's back!

Great job!
this is so awesome! I admire your work!
Incredible! I love this one so much. Even the sound of the motor is great. If I'm ever a tourist in Japan I want to ride a hybrid bus.
WOW, does not even begin to describe my amazement at your skill and patience, New subscriber here, and look forward to binge watching the rest of your videos. Just WOW WOW WOW.
Bravo !
Bro, your videos really inspire me to study more so that even i can make things like this in the future!

"Driver's license passed for street and rail" :-))) ... "👌👍" ... Regards😉, crazy Olli
Amazing work! And full RC control, too! In America vehicles like this are called, "Hi-Rail" vehicles. Most are small trucks used for track inspection or larger trucks needed for track maintenance.
This is one of my favorite hobbies of others that I enjoy watching. Thanks for sharing!
First class job!
Very impressive!!
This is genius ❤
Great Work!
Besides steady hand and infinite patience one must know a lot about where to get these parts in the first place.

that is incredible. wow.
awesome! thanks for sharing
Very impressive! I am trying to design a BLE receiver for 1/87 models, and I'm not even sure it can be made smaller than your 3D electronics
Amazing !
Oh man, let me see this on a layout pleeeeease. I saw a news piece of the full size one and it's introduction to service. The aesthetic was immaculate. This is amazing.....maybe black out the windows tho.
What one would pay for something like this! Amazing work
Awesome!
Un vero Maestro! 🎉
Great skills sir
Artistic
Awesome👍
Just fantastic 👏👏👏
Very impressive.
8:30 I thought you were gonna jump over some scale motorcycles ;)
Would you publish onr day a full step by step tutorial including programming electronic chapter ?
Impressive.👍
Incredible.

I think I saw this on Tom Scott's video
Gimmick System Perfect Amazing!!!!
Sehr gut!
Bravo ~ excellent work. KR AndyT(UK)
Sooooooooooo cool!
Wow😁
I was thinking ' that's impressive turning radius' then he proceeds to parallel park!
:) again lol incrédible is true realistic bus :D tks for your works-rock micro
A full size one of these buses was featured on one of Tom Scott’s videos.
Wow 😮
This is insane level 😮 Where do you shop for whires leads and components to build this...?

Same as everyone, china. Only difference is that he's japanese so he's very close
So satisfying 🤌 both assembly and demonstration are masterfully framed and timed. Love it. How long did it take you to shoot and cut the video? Do you do preproduction test assembly?
i can't look away
Try doing bottom plate as double sided PCB. Down part for ICs and top for motors.
Wow
Where can i buy these small gears and dc motors, that you used?
incredible as always! is the noise coming from the servo? can this be elimenated with some filtering in the servo loop?
@Daddy_Gable
Nope, the sound comes from gears scrambling together do to imprecise assembly / cheap gears.
@mdani76

I think it's the pwm control of the dc traction motor; it's a pity, probably there are better (but more expensive) controllers that use higher pwm frequency; or probably... there's no solution with that tiny motors 😊
@romyaz1713
@@mdani76 oh, i see what you mean. maybe if one puts a capacitor across the motor terminals, that would probably filter some of that high switching frequency
@mdani76
@@romyaz1713 maybe... I see the author's video with a lot of expertise so probably there's no solution. those tiny motors have no inertial mass so they respond sketchy to pwm impulse and make that awful noise.
👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Belo trabalho.
I want to do this in 1/87 scale
Oooh! A hi-railer!
Can you please try 1/64 scale next time maybe Lamborghini huracan I think
😃😃😃
I can handle some small stuff but this would make me so antsy to do
I don't know how you do it so that your hands are not shaking xD are you a human? :D
jesus christ !! this is insane
Can you sell it I literally love ur small masterpiece
normal people must compete in this world agains others that can do things like this. i lose hope lmao
