I think it would be cool if they added working playgrounds for the kids and they could add different slide sets and stuff or different slide parks to make your own playground

I’m way too excited for the sniffs. Cats sniffing is the only reason for life.

I am so relieved they are adding smaller habitat gates FINALLY. I've literally been avoiding making small animal habitats purely because I could never make the habitats look the way I wanted with the gates. Also the calling behavior is amazing and sniffing! It's something you don't think about but now that they mention it it's totally been missing!

The aardvark seems like a weird exclusion from the sniffing behavior

Some of the animals on the list already had sniffing behaviours before the patch. The list only shows animals that won’t receive any new behaviours in this patch.

5:14 I hope that they add these group calling behaviour especially to the lions quite soon, as their calling sounds are really impressive.

Educational stations... Frontier didnt have to do this, but they did. They spoiled us, thank you❤️

I love the education stations. It is such a great concept, that Frontier can build up upon. For example with a “can you jump wider than a kangaroo”-station. Such a cool and big free update. I love everything about it!

I think this is one of the most interesting free updates coming up. It brings so much life to your zoo. I can't wait to get started on it.

I think the siamang will only be able to swing from the new climbing frame. Still pretty cool!!

Frontier bringing their A game again! I'm so glad to have the education stations, that's something the game was sorely missing, and I hope they'll add more varieties later on. Group photos are a really nice little addition to guest behaviors, and the Sniffing and Chorus behaviors will add some welcome realism to the relevant animals; again, hopefully we'll see more animals get added to the Chorus list.

In the building menu, all climbing frames are classified as enrichment. They are not enrichment “pieces” but are still in the enrichment tab and are therefore classified as enrichment with behaviors attached… I think.

cool, but we need playgrounds and petting zoos too☺️ Both are so typical für zoos....

I think it’s confirmed the climbing frame is modular

small playgrounds would be great but I am loving everything so far

The background sound you used really needs to to have the sound lowered because it scared me half to death when it randomly went off. The second time I didn't react to it. But it triggered my flight or fight something fierce for some reason. :p

Education stations... reminds me of Animal Kingdom's Wilderness Explorers

"except the toilet".... and now that "Rudy"culous comment makes me want a countertop toilet.... er urinal? er those pay stations that pop open the door after so long that are around? I'm a little bummed out how limited the Education Stations are. We definitely need them, but they just feel so restrictive in options. Like why only Giraffes and Gorillas for the height thing.... you could do one for the length of a nope-rope Anaconda; Or why not a weight station in comparing elephants and rhinos to humans? I've seen so many interactive pieces, plus this new kiddo mechanic opens such a realm of possibilities (cough cough.... interactive play set?)

I'm going to be away at Singapore Zoo until the 24th! If you have the time/interest, could you please check whether we can build over the top of the education stations? I'd love to build a cart display with skulls/other items and watch guests still interact with it educationally.

I love it!

I've been building custom height stations and sound boards for my exhibits so it will be nice to be able to put in some that guests can actually interact with! Kind of disappointing that it's kids only though... I'd at least think there would be some adults who want to see how they measure up to different animals.

I love sniffing!!

Makes me want to get back into my zoo..... and create some more!!! Got very discoraged as my large Hippo habitat is STILL not working for them to swim 😞

I had problems also getting them to swim. They need very flat land so they can walk into the water almost. I think anyway, it’s been a while since I done it. I do remember struggling with it for a while though

So siamang brachiation is tied to climbing frame enrichment.......well there goes any hope of the other primates getting a brachiation update

@@TheSilverwing999 There are 2 types of animations in PZ, behavior animations and enrichment animations. Behavior animations get retroactively updated/applied to existing animals, while enrichment animations are applied to the animal they were made for and, rarely, for future DLC animals. I may be wrong, but i can only base my opinion on Planet Zoo's habit of not adding old animals to new enrichment items.

Brachiation wouldn't really make sense for gorillas.
