I love my mix2mold! I learned real fast to have extra molds and water on hand because the instructions never work out for me. The great thing about this product is that bubbles can be sanded out easily. I use a nail file. You can add tattoos on your items too and they work great. I have used my pigment powders to give it a marble affect. I have the 3 gal succulent molds from temu and used the mix2mold for them then painted them afterwards

Tammy, I use the Magic Pour from Let's Resin but essentially these eco pours are a lot alike. The spots you are seeing is moisture in your piece, it takes a couple days for it dry completely, then that will go away and then you can seal it. If you seal it before its dry, you will trap the moisture within the piece and it will make it weak and unstable. As far as colorants, you can use any water based color, I tried mica powder and had no luck with it, because Mica and water don't like each other so it doesn't mix well at all. But I do love that piece, very cute mold, I've seen it and wondered what it looked like in person. ❤❤❤

Thanks for the tips. I have used resincrete but never mix to mold and wasn't sure of the spots in it 🤣 I thought I had done something wrong. This stuff is sort of different from resincrete and a lot stronger. I am so curious about it 🤔 and want to experiment further with it a bit. My pieces did lose that water drop look that worried me. I thought it might be something like that and decided it wasn't a good idea to seal it yet. (Thank god) 😊

Mix2Mold is the absolute best as far as I'm concerned. It has a soft almost silk like feeling, it doe not chip easily and if you add more water it will forgive you. I have not had any bubbles or issues and it takes colorant nicely. Sadly Micheals here in Canada is currently not carrying any and they do not have a clue if it will be back. I was assured by the staff of Brea Reese that it will be in all stores this summer (I thought it was already summer), so we will see. Love your little girl with her flower crown, just too sweet.

I have not worked with it enough to really form my own opinion yet, but I can tell you that it has really gotten my attention. I am so pleased with it so far and look forward to experimenting with it more. I did go next door to the hobby lobby store looking for it after I left Micheals. They didn't have it yet. I had priced a few things in Micheals and wanted to see the difference in the two store prices. It is jaw-dropping at the price differences on the things I checked. Just an example, I picked up this box sectioned off into 8 slots with lids and tiny dried flowers inside. Micheals had it for $14.99, and hobby lobby had the exact same thing for $5.49. That is crazy to me. I have never been a michaels shopper due to this. I will check Micheals ONLY IF I can't find what I'm looking for at Hobby Hobby. I hope and pray that hobby lobby gets it because they will get my money over michaels any day.

@@epoxym3that You are fortunate that you have the option of Hobby Lobby, all we have is Micheals here in Canada. I know I could have things shipped but the prices end up sky rocketing by the time it gets here. I spoke with my contact yet again and she said once more you will have it at Hobby Lobby in July, hope for you guys she's being honest.

I'm definitely a fan of eco casting powders, and how fast they set, though you can unmold them within 30 minutes, ive learned to leave them 6 to 12 hours in the mold, then let them dry another 5 days to allow full evaporation. I can't have a strawberry mold, it would make me want strawberries, but I'm allergic to them, so nothing strawberry around my house 😆 The planter/candle holder mold would be cute if it had eyes peeking out from behind the flowers, but you did a good job with it 😊

I watch another creator that uses mix to mold a lot & she said the company told her they're selling it on Amazon now. Apparently they're having trouble with the listing, but they hope to get it fixed soon. Also I suggested she try Rit dye to color it & when she tried it it worked really well. Especially if you substitute some of the water for the liquid dye you can get very black instead of grey, & really vibrant colors. I'm really looking forward to seeing what you create.

I could sit and play with my pieces like a little kid for hours. I still have a lot to learn about it. I go to church on Wednesday nights, too, and I'm in a bible study on Thursday nights as well. Dont toss it out if it hardens on you. You can bust it up and use it as filler. Unicorn spit does a good job of solid color. I have poured on top and it worked great. Tried to purchase more today at michaels and they told me they discontinued it.

Thank you for the tip using unicorn spit. I don't have any of that, though. Oh, I spent 4 hours yesterday driving to two different michaels in search of it. No luck at the first one, but I found 1 bucket at the second one. I was told the same thing. Let me tell you what is interesting about it. The very first michaels had it clearanced out. That is where I originally purchased it out of town. I didn't know I would like it so well and went to the other two stores. The last store I found the 1 bucket at made me pay full price for it but yet it is clearanced and they aren't carrying it anymore. Now that is weird. When I asked why it wasn't clearanced at their store, I was told that every store didn't clearance them.
