What a fantastic change - well done! I wonder, if you wrap to a different color, do you have to change the color at the Registry of Motor Vehicles? Or maybe because it's a wrap, you don't have to, as you would with a paint job?

J5!!! What's good bro? Great video that shows an excellent job on the Tahoe. I have a 2009 and planning to wrap it this summer. I'm gonna do my boat first, in a few weeks. That should be able to provide some good practice before I tackle the Tahoe.

They aren't too bad to wrap, I think its cleaner without them though. Just stretch left to right and hook the corners.

It looks sick, but how does it hold up in weather? I live in the North West where it rains a lot. Will it hold up like paint? What happens when there's a defect from rock chips or scratches? How much does this cost to do? I have the same Tahoe.

Thank you. It holds up well. You can expect 3-5 years out of it if it’s kept relatively clean. If there’s defect from rock chips or scratches, that panel would likely need to be rewrapped. You can expect to pay somewhere between $3,000-$4,000 depending on where you live.

No. One of the benefits of wrapping a car instead of painting a car is that it does not diminish the resale value. Wraps a removable like giant stickers so that are not actually altering anything on the vehicle but the look of it.

The person who was doing the recording that day just wasn't there in time to catch the hood. I used to start by wrapping the hood first. Did you have a question about wrapping the hood in particular?
