I now understand why the young performing lady students have several different uniforms, all from different schools. I had thought possibly different class grade years. Thank you for all of your hard work in gathering, editing and posting these videos. It makes my heart young again when I see these great new musicians. It speaks well of the Japanese education system, as this teaches skills and also keeps young minds from learning bad habits. I wish we did that here. We have much to learn from an older culture like Japan.

To anyone from Japan!!!! Did “ PREFUCTURAL” schools means public schools by the Japanese Government? I see many schools with same prefectural name, so that why I’m asking. Thanks

In Japan, a prefecture is similar to a county in many respects. So, as in the US a city name probably precedes a high school name, like Austin Lincoln, with Austin being the city, Lincoln the high school. If a city name does not precede the school, then the prefecture does and in some cases a prefecture is much older and more well known than a city.
