Either in this lesson or the next Bill was going on about lines and seeing the beauty and feeling the curves. Well today i bandsawed and sanded my last and when i put the points and lines on to curve the top of the shoe there it was just like he said. Yes it was a good idea to start on the inside. Everything evolved after that. Thanks Bill. 😊 great teaching.

He goes over the woods in the previous video (08). This one is Ash, but he says there’re better options.

The most common wood we use is now Italian Beech. We also use locally grown English Ash and Hornbeam. Beech is the most common though

Lekoman. I seem to be watching the videos backward so i hadn't seen the answer yet. But he was sweet enough to answer with even more detail than in the video so I am beyond thrilled right now.
