Len - I know it has been a year but I am researching some videos for our 1975 MB 406 in Reno, Nevada. I need to replace the lift pump primer and test the fuel system. The unit gets about 15 minutes run time and then starts stumbling - between filters and primer pump I am hoping to get it squared away before winter. I appreciate your walk around. Helps me remember inlet to fuel filter housing, outlet to primer pump and return to fuel tank. I found out a family of ground squirrels have eaten the wiring harness under the hood behind the air cleaner (external regulator leads nowhere to be found). Did you do all the rewiring of your 416 on your own or did you purchase a new wiring harness when you rebuilt your 416? Great Video!! Thank you for posting!!

Hi, thx I have not done my rewiring yet. But I did change my alternator with build in regulator I got the wirring diagram(whole manual) for the 406/416 Sent me email and I can forward it to you. jonkerlen@gmail.com
