Anytime you see this it means the game is fake. Tom completes to an uncovered receiver with no Redskins even in the shot. Eventually teams caught on, in the Super Bowl against Philly he made a TD catch while being blatantly held by Jevon Kearse. However they didn’t run the play much the next few years so by the time we got to 07 and this Redskins game it was kind of a surprise again

What's remarkable bout Brady is he doesn't take plays off or series or seasons. Every year I watched me pats he spoiled my ass. He gave me everything I ever wanted as a football fan. I saw it all. His legend will echo through the halls of power at Gillette and his shadow will look large over the NFL for the next 200 years. Unless someone wins three in a row with an unbeaten season and 80 touchdown passes we have witnessed the greatest quarterback of all time....and it wasn't even close

I remember having to do something during this game. Can't remember what exactly given that I was a child at the time, but I know I got back, flipped on the TV to see what the score was and just said something along the lines of 'sheesh'. That's my memory of the '07 Pats. It just felt like they could drop 30, 40, or even 50 points with relative ease and all you could do was just shake your head in amazement. Absolutely dominant... until they weren't.

I will never forget watching this live. My favorite Mike Vrabel game of all time.

My first pats game I ever went to!

Wow this was my 1st Pats game and after I went to Good Time to watch the Red Sox won the 07 World Series.

How many times is Jason Campbell gonna fumble in this game. Good grief.

Yeah NASCAR and MLB Fox broadcasts had similar scoreboards. It looks better in HD too.

Ironically enough, Asante Samuel couldn't hold on to the interception in the Super Bowl, that would have ended the game and capped off the perfect season.

Washington actually made the playoffs that year lmao.

Can you imagine if Sean Taylor had played along side Ed Reed or some other top 5 defense back then....that dude played at such a high level...so much passion for the game man....R.I.P Sean Taylor

It's always beautiful to see Tom Brady with a dart through the middle to either Welker or Edelman. People don't understand it hurts more for the defense to get beaten in traffic rather than outside

What a day ! 3 strip sacks, 1 TFL + 10 tackles, 1 catch (2y & TD), 1 onside kick recovery

For the first 10 games of that season they played at an unsustainable level. Beating 2 13-3 teams on the road. Blowing out another playoff team by 45 points. They were playing madden on rookie

This team broke the scoreboard everywhere they went.

Kevin Faulk! He was such a great player. The epitome of blue collar football.

I'm a Pats fan born in 2001...really wish I had gotten to experience (and remember) '07 but alas

Such an annihilation that after recovering an onside kick late in the 4th, Bellichick used his 3rd QB rather than allowing Cassel to debon that team

This was the greatest team in NFL history. Even David Tyree doesn't change that

I believe this was Sean Taylor's last game. He got injured in this game, was rehabbing and was murdered roughly a month later.

No his last game was against the eagles a few weeks after this. Thats when he injured his knee and was killed about a week or 2 later

One of the most important elements of this team's success, the offensive line, often goes unacknowledged. But it was a great run. Look at the RB's - they're often five yards downfield before anyone on defense can even touch them. They pass protected like SOBs too. Later in the season when the o-line lost some starters, the team declined from the great heights of Week 8.

Seen Sean Taylor football life. His life did matter :beautiful wife, plenty of money, people that loved him. Please increase the peace.

Total Draft Bust from the 2006 Draft. Belichick could've Drafted, Marcedes Lewis, Maurice Jones-Drew, Owen Daniels, or Marion Barber in that 2006 Draft, or at least a combo of two of them. All better options than Laurence Maroney.

Yes, it's the job of the other team to stop them, and as far as "unsportsmanlike" this is not high school football; this is pro football. But the football gods thought otherwise. They thought these actions unbefitting and struck down their perfect season. Then, they sent a reminder about the risks of injury, in the form of Bernard Pollard, in a way that was legal at the time. The league eventually modified the Carson Palmer rule.

07 pats were great

This was the only regular season game that year that Washington lost by more than 8 points. That 2007 Washington team could've been better, but they had a hard time closing games out. And of course they tragically lost their best defender.

I remember this game too. One of two 50 burgers this team delivered as they shredded everyone in their way to their 16-0. Its a sin this team couldn't beat the NY Giants in the Superbowl
